- How to fix moisture has been detected in charging port error. This simple fix will work if your phone is dead. I have used this simple fix many many times. This fix may work on other devices besides the Samsung Galaxy s8 or s8+.

Holy crap! It worked! Thank you so much I have literally tried 12 other methods people have shown on TH-cam and nothing else worked! Amazing 4 year old tip is still working for my S21 Ultra! Thank you so much for sharing this tip! Just a side note for others, make sure you let go of the power and volume down button as soon as the phone shows that the charger is connected. I held them down for a bit longer and it did not work the 1st try, but tried it again with letting go right away after it show the charging light ring and it worked perfectly.

My phone faces similar problem and tried above method and it works. However, after my SGNote10+ battery went off it died for good. I tried couple of option from tube and it still didn't work. Are there any other possible ways you can assist me to get it back to switch it on?

No. It didn't work. Even with zero battery life, when I plug it in, it starts vibrating with a water droplet & won't charge.
Soak the port in rubbing alcohol 90% plus. Wait 10 hrs. Try again.

sounds counter intuitive. But i just rinsed my charger port with tap water lightly then dried with paper towel and qtip. Its taking a charge for now at least. :)

Seems like this is still the go-to fix. My S21 Ultra was nowhere near water, charged just fine the night before. Boom - not charging. Tried a bunch of other stuff, cleaned the port, cleaned the port again with isopropanol and toothpicks, dried it using blow drier, waited a few hours etc. Nothing worked. Then this video. Happily charging.
(This seems to me like a software issue rather than a hardware one. Never had a problem in the past and the S21 Ultra is "waterproof" rated as well, so it's odd this happened just a few days after a new update...)

This method works its not bypassing .
Get a tissue plug your charger in with the tissue & tadaaa it works keep it in for a while to soak up whatever moisture.

i got a solution .if u have a gaming pc just hold ur phone towards gpu fan so that hot air can enter in usb port and do a gpu intensive task.some minutes later the notification will automaically gone as the inside moisture will vapourize. solved for my s20 fe this way

All these videos are exactly rhe same, not an actual moisture detection problem, just a battery override.....what happens when this doesnt work
Use rubbing alcohol to clean your charger port.

Wash it with rubbing alcohol, let it dry for 2 hrs, repeat steps in video if necessary.

Still didnt work. Im so frustrated right now this is a 800$ phone I dont have warrenty anymore and I need it for work tomorrow. I didnt get the phone anywhere near water, I am very anal about not briinging it into the bathroom when I shower or any moist environment.
Give it an alcohol bath, try a different charger. Get 90% plus alcohol
@@TheDayFamilyVlogs I did do the bath, didn't help.
My solution was to sit it in the Recovery Mode and get a little juice, then quickly when it started up with less than 1% quiickly go into the settings and turn on Wireless Charging (II had it turned off like an idiot.)
After charging it past 10% it fiinaly took a charge from the cord.

Submerge the charger port of your phone in rubbing alcohol 80+% preferred. Let dry for 1 hour. Repeat steps. Need to make a video on that.

Hold the power button and volume down button down and plug it in. Might work.
