Bird watching at East Harbor State Park

Spent two days enjoying the sights and sounds of the bird migration. Lovely campsite. Very clean restrooms and showers. Trails are well maintained. If you find yourself in northern Ohio try to spend a few days here. You won’t be disappointed.

Hi Anita. That was very enjoyable and some of those birds migrate all the way up to Canada. I can name a few of what you showed us: Starting @1:26 Canada geese and their goslings; 1:45 White egret; 2:00 Downy woodpecker; 2:17 Great blue heron; 3:11 Great blue heron in flight; 4:09 Mallard drake; 4:11 Red wing blackbird; 4:19 Turkey vultures; 4:38 yet another Great blue heron and I will not mention the slitheries on the log ... he he he. Have a great drive and will see you on the next one.

Thanks. I had no idea it was peak migration season when we booked several months ago. If you are into birding, this is certainly the place to be.
