Looks like a re-branded Siglent SDS1152. Don't know how much you paid for that one but usually the best deal is to get a lower spec one and upgrade the firmware to a higher spec one.

Maybe not, sometimes re-branded scopes can be had for less money. It depends on what kind of a deal the distributor gets. You do pay a premium for the top of the line versions (150MHz). Hardware is the same inside, only difference is the firmware. Manufacturers like that sort of thing these days. EEVBlog channel and forum have a ton of info on that, if you are interested.
