    Nice you found the sockets, made in the ussr is very obvious due to the robust design. I'm very interested in the upcoming videos. Thanks for sharing your progress. 73's

    Hahaha can't believe I actually guessed right with Valve Sockets..I take me hat off to the Russians they sure know how to make stuff that lasts...glad you managed to find those Steve onwards and upwards with the Build good Luck.

    howmuch have you paid for the sockets? because as you already know i am building an amp but i can find only very expensive ones....

      They were expensive... $155 AUD for the pair, delivered.

      @@vk6cs456 that is cheap compared to sk800b or sk840 socket for EIMAC 4CX1500B tetrode AND 5CX1500B pentode ,at price 1300 US each....
