The body looks thin but sounds THICC. Really though, it resonates well. Has almost an aged guitar sound but still sounds bright. Thats a beauty for sure.
Such a deep depth of knowledge and a head that still fits in that hat! You’re one of the joys of my day Justin. As for your playing I can’t actually find the words that I feel appropriate to describe it. Just makes my brain buzz and body fly 😘👍
I've had a few Cort guitars. I can't say enough good. I had an acoustic which I gave to someone that wanted to learn, and then I still own the other. It's got a Gibson SG feel to it. Double humbucker which I replaced with some Seymore Duncan's some time ago. I have it set for low fast action but I'm thinking of setting it up to be optimal for slide. You can't really ever go wrong with owning a Cort. They play nicely and they hold up in time
Love the sound of an all mahogany guitar. Great balance of bass and treble, but still plenty of definition in individual notes. Reminds me of my Breedlove Pursuit Concert all mahogany.
Wow. Very impressed. I love orchestra model more than dreadnought so this one caught my eyes immediately, but when you started strumming it blew away..
Love the aged look and the sound is awesome. Truly outstanding instrument in that price range (around $600/EUR500 I believe). There's hope for us ordinary folks!!
I bought a Cort OC Mahogany partially due to your review. I'm amazed at how a guitar I paid just over $600 for can sing like that guitar does. I've owned it for two weeks and I find myself grabbing it over my much more expensive guitar for just picking on the couch. It's fantastic for finger style. I definitely don't regret my purchase. This is a perfect solid wood and lightweight gigging guitar, travel guitar, or just pick on the back porch guitar.
The first acoustic guitar I bought fourteen years ago was a Cort for around 250€ and I play it since that day! Great sound for low money! Since I need a good second guitar in the next time, I guess the Core Series will be it!
I just bought my grandson the grand auditorium model of this guitar in Blackwood. I’ve been playing guitar for over 60 years, and this one really reached out and grabbed me by my ears!
Great playing ! Your fingers on both hands are magic ! Yes that guitar has a beautiful balance and warm tone but still is like glass on the highs without being harsh. Marshall Tucker Band played several Cort guitars on stage at shows. ☺
Ive had a cort clasical for a good 8 yrs now i love it ive taken it everywhere with me the neck is staeting to pull in slightly but it still sounds great
That first one looks really great, eventhough they took some of the aesthetics off, it looks so much better with that more natural wooded look. And it sounds amazing! Very beautiful.
Finally, some recognition for an underated Maker! This Brand of Guitar was my first and still sounds as good as the first day! Thanks mate. Great music!
@@briwood6328Sorry, I just noticed your comments. The build quality is good. I would definitely recommend! I have personally been looking at this model as an upgrade. Cole Clark FL 3 Series Fat Lady Dreadnought, Australian Blackwood Face, Back & Sides, Cutaway Acoustic/Electric Guitar (CCFL3EC-BLBL) The above Cole Clark model is a beauty but I can't justify the price. Undeniably one of the best in terms of quality but the Cort and Fender make exceptional low cost Guitars.
After you reviewed the gold series I ended up getting the Cort gold 08 om. Best decision I made, the tone of the guitar is so beautiful and has projection for days. Thanx Justin.

I sold it and some other guitars to get a hand on a old school Kramer. This makes me wanna get a new one, fits my low budget but quality conscious life :)
Cort guitars are really good value, my first cort acoustic was only $200 but it was so good that my fender/gibson equipped "friends" burgled it after a gig lol
I love the blues playing, keep the videos rolling , your playing is a inspiration to us meer mortals.I saw one of thses guitars in murtilewood it looked absolutely beautiful a work of art.🤩👍
I'd like to hear what Justin could do with the $300 Cort CJ Retro Jumbo guitar. It's a little thin sounding unplugged (because it's an all laminated guitar) but plugged in that thing really kicks. And in Justin's hands it would sound like a million bucks.
i have a cort parlor with rosewood sides and neck, maple top, 3 piece maple / rosewood back, nice herringbone inlays, and a 12th fret neck join, and, it sounds at least as good as any martin or taylor or takimine or tanglewood or maton or whatever
good that Cort finally have this shape guitar. but it probably never appear neither in my country nor in my city. like 3/4 or any small shapes. never the less i learn to play on used 810op and it's alright for 40$ (or 100$ new).
Tell us a little more about the frets. I also want to compliment your playing. Did you listen to a lot of Johnny Winter? Like him you have great control over your thumb and fingers on your picking hand. I never could get good at playing with my thumb and fingers. I use a pick and the other 3 fingers. It just feels more natural to me using a hybrid style of picking. Keep sending us those fantastic sounds you make
I bought a Cort recently. It is my first guitar . It's really nice looking. Good price. Worth checking out if you find yourself in the market. Seeing JJ say good things about it makes me feel I made the right choice.
Gorgeous looking guitar that is an answer for many looking for a great tone, easy playing, well crafted yet affordable instrument to play and have fun with for a long time. 👍😎👍

Looks like a very nice little guitar! I've stopped playing the Framus Dreadnought I bought in 1973 - I've found it very difficult to play due to that darned Arthur - Itus getting into my fingers. But that one looks nice to play! Perhaps I should consider buying one. Thank you for the review!!

Close your eyes and listen, this is what you might would've heard on the Mississippi Delta of yesteryear or possibly on one of those River boats in the days of Mark Twain. Justin seems to have a vast interest in music of all genres and is so talented!
Cort makes great guitars. I have a GA10F. It would have been nice if you could have the other 2 models from the Core series to do a sound comparison. Great playing and its nice to see Cort get some love from a great player.
My buddy's wife ordered him one. Really cheap price. I looked it over, tuned it up. It was a fun and good sounding player. I'd consider a Cort, but I'm currently directing my coun into a rather nasty Alvarez addiction, lol.
