Guys, the best thing to do is take it to an auto parts store and borrow a code reader for free. My code was a misfire. Change your spark plugs if you haven’t done it.
yeah so I've changed battery and spark plugs mine still does it and cleaned throttle body I also have upgraded coil packs and wires and air intake and spacer

I was concerned. But now, with your video. I’ll do the same and I should just change all spark plugs. They probably haven’t been replaced since rolled off the lot in 2013… thank you again
I have 2010 SS I bought with 59k miles in 2017. The weak battery would cause the Stabilitrac to come on but after being charged and running for 10-15 minutes it would go away. Today, my engine light came on and service stabilitrak lights too. It runs rough but it seems different this time. Maybe it is the spark plugs this time? 169k miles. Seems to be losing coolant too and I just replaced the Water pump at a cost of $1400 w/labor. Ouch.
Another common issue is the battery or alternator causing low voltage. If these parts test good, check chassis grounds. There is two in the drivers side engine bay. One on the frame rail and another on the drivers side cylinder head.
I had this issue on my 2015 SS 40k miles. Checked wires, plugs, and battery. Was sure that the 7 year old battery was bad. Nope. Then ran the code and found an injector was not working at all. Bought an electric meter and tested it. That fixed it right up. Talk about annoying though.
I did the same, floored it at a red light ( when it turned green of course) and my service stabilitrak light came on, ABS light and flashing check engine light. They went away after a minute, but the braking stayed pretty bad, almost like it was automatically putting on the brakes too hard so I'm thinking it has something to do with the ABS module. As far as I could tell for the rest of the drive home the car handled pretty normally. I got on it a little bit again just to see if I could recreate the problem and try to analyze what I saw but it didn't do it again. I guess it could also be a misfire or hard downshifting thats causing that hard brake feeling. Idk but it fuckin sucks. My camaro is my daily and has never had an issue before my dumb ass fucked it up.
same exact thing you jus mentioned happened to me last night. floored it and those lights flashed for a while n then went away and drove home perfectly fine. if you found out what it was and could summarize it i would appreciate it. only had my camaro for little less than a month so very new to the platform still. my daily as well
My stabili loght and trouble started after cold air intake installed!! DONT PUT COLD AIR INTAKE ON !! they are all crap and don't make any difference on power !! I installed the oem back on and my problem was solved!!
First things first get a ODBII scanner, or take the car to an auto-parts store so they can scan it. Some things you can check: It usually comes down to spark, fuel, or air when you're dealing with a misfire. If you verified the plug, coil, battery, BCM (Body Control Module), crank sensor, and the wire is in good working order check your harness for damaged wires with a voltmeter. You could have a faulty injector, check your contacts with a voltmeter a good injector should be reading 13.7 OLMs for resistance. injector could be stuck open/closed as well. If it's running lean you probably either have a plugged fuel filter, or have a vacuum leak, sometimes both. Worst case scenario, loss of compression in the cylinder I.E. bad rings on the piston, blown head gasket, the valves could be stuck or bent causing them to not seat correctly, damaged spring/lifter. Check your throttle body, make sure its clean, if it has gunk in it sometimes this will cause the paddle to stick, or not close completely cause high/low idle, rough idle this can foul up plugs. Check your MAF sensor, Crank Sensor, and throttle position sensor are in good working order. I hope this helps.
I had to comment homies. I have a 2010 Camaro 2lt v6 and the same trek stabilizer light came on about 1month ago. Well yesterday the car won't start. I had AAA come and test the alternator and battery and bingo! Dead cell in the battery. Changed it and no more issue! Hope it helps someone 🤙🏽
I overhauled my stock L99 engine heads, valves are now in excellent condition like new, and tight enough. Replaced springs, valve steam rubbers, pushrods, rockers , spark plugs , cleaned valve lifters and injectors (no collapsed lifters on 100K mileage). Replaced all timing components and VVT along with camshaft sensor and magnet. Service Stabilitrak msg is still comes on during cranking along with a rough idle and a clicking noise. Valve lifters were found good but several of them had a scratches on the rollers. Oil pump is new, 50 psi on cruising and 26-29 psi on hot idle. Any suggestions ?? No fault codes
Well I have a 2015 camaro SS. And the only time this comes up on my dash, is when doing canyon runs and I’m really pushing the car. But then it goes away after like 2 min. But the car never showed any signs of engine failure or loss of power… which is interesting. Oh and my car only has 31,000 miles
Were they ome spark plugs? I got over 230k on my original spark plugs. I changed them because I was supposed to do it over 100,000 miles ago and they still weren't giving me any issues. Hopefully, the spark plug fixes your problem, because I got the same warning when my alternator stopped working while I'm doing 80 on the highway. God was with me that day because I got a chance to exit and park the car in the middle of a side street when the car eventually shut down. That was at 80,000 miles. After I remake my alternator I never got that error again.
I just bought a 2015 SS that has 50,000 miles on it. The guy was going through a divorce and didn’t wanna leave the car to his wife so he gave it to me for a steel. But as soon as I got it, I felt a difference from it when I had it test driven. But anyway, I put seafoam in it and ran the car hard as hell on the highway and when I got off the highway my Service Stabilitrak kept popping up. I’ve dealt with many cars that has had spark plug issues and can tell that’s what’s happening to my car. Just waiting for my mechanic to let me know when he’s available so I take these bad boys out. Because of the turbo there’s so much going on under the hood that I’m not comfortable playing with it myself.
@@Unknown.987 i figure it out take apart the throttle body and clean it with carb and choke cleaner then take each coil pack out and clean it with alcohol and put everything back together and it fixed it on my side should for you as well

My body runs 87 octane and the same car and he told me he goes thru sparks plugs like crazy I put 93 in mine and I replace sparks every 25000 miles to be safe
Man I’ve changed all 8 spark plugs, all 8 coil pack, maf sensor, crankshaft sensor and it’s still driving like doo doo. I’m about to just get rid of it and get a Mustang. 😒
I had this same issue on Cyl 5. The code was cylinder 5 misfire, and cylinder 5 coil pack. Replaced all 8 plugs and wires and the cyl 5 coil. Still having the same issue. I pulled the plug and started the engine. It sparked for a few seconds(while the engine cranked) the shut off after it started. Almost like the computer shut it off. Mostly likely because it sensed there was nothing sparking cyl 5. But at least I know it sparks. I don't know what it could be now. Any ideas?
And that's why, kids, you don't drive a high mileage car hard! You will get problems like this. Common sense. No car should be driven hard, unless it was customized to do so.
I am having this problem right now. The stabilitrak light is on and the engine light is flashing car will not turn over changed starter and charged battery. Car can’t move to go and get a tester. What should I do?
Mines did it yesterday on a road trip .. I’m at 92 it’s a ls 13.. when I woke the next mornin everything was gone no lights nothin.. I put some c foam in and gassed up n went home no issues but I did purchase some spark plugs on way home to have my friend change them for me bc haven’t had a tune up.. then goin to proceed to coil packs I guess

I paid $12k 136k miles. I would recommend you ask them if you can put a code reader on it. If the code is a misfire code spark plugs could be a safe bet. If you’re not mechanically experienced you could ask for a pre purchase inspection. Where you would have them take it to a mechanic that’s trustworthy. You don’t want to get burnt because there could be other underlying issues. Don’t assume anything.
Same issue here, I had a slightly bent pushrod on cylinder 3. replaced both pushrods on that cylinder now the car doesn’t flash the check engine light to show its missing but the stability trak lights come and go still just a little less. I also replaced the spark plug in that cylinder. I’m going to replace all other plugs and refill gas tank I think I also got bad gas doesn’t seem to have a loss of power though. On a full tank of gas one day to the next day when this issue occurred I had half a tank probably only drove 45 miles since the fill up.

Check for any stored codes using an appropriate code reader. My 2015 SS is doing the same thing. I can’t remember the code number but it was a bad Crank Sensor issue. No check engine light came on either but the tach quit working, The traction control lights all lite up and the engine is slightly miss firing. I ordered a new GM crank sensor on eBay for about $40 and I’m going to put it in.
I fixed the issue, turns out just a low battery. When the battery gets low and it's cold out the camaro doesn't operate correctly. Found the answer on a forum and the guy had a same problem. I suggest checking the power level on the battery. Went to autozone to get it charged and it was at 14%
Yes it was but the code could come up for anything related to some sort of misfire. Best thing to do is put a code reader on it. If you get the code and tell me what it’s doing i may be able to help
Did that work because I have the same issue and what I’m getting is that’s it’s a power train issue. Replacing the wheel hubs because that what send the issue to the information center.
@@imjussju you have to put a code reader on it to know for sure but most of the time when the lights come on it’s because of low power to the ecm so could be battery or alternator if low voltage is the issue but if it’s showing a misfire like mine it’s more likely to be spark plugs or a plugged up cat or a bent push rod
@@codywalker8565 Yes mines is showing a misfire in cyn. 4 and I’ve done plenty of research and i came up with the wheel hubs being the issue. I’ve also seen plenty of videos on here stating the same issue and correcting it by replacing the wheel hubs. My cyn 4 issue is a faulty code because the dealer changed everything and it still states misfire in cyn 4. SMH

@@Matt-kf1ze it’s possible that you have a wheel speed sensor bad or a problem with your diff or transmission speed sensor. Check codes.

A bad alternator and battery will give you the same warning. It took me 5 days to figure out my issue. Even the mechanics didn't know what to do.
Don't forget to check for your 02 Sensor .

Could actually just be traction control related. Maybe a wheel speed sensor? Without a code it’s hard telling.

That error comes up when the car loses power. If you get a battery warning error check you're alternator or battery.

My issue was my MAF wires rubbing out on my engine belt P0113 DTC💀

Battery is bad, even if it has enough voltage replace it. The cranking amps are probably too low.

If you had intermittent light on your spark tester you have a bad coil pak
