Man. Kevin is pretty much the last of my childhood racing heroes that is left. Thanks for the memories from all of the veteran drivers who have stepped away in the last 6 or 7 years. The sport has changed a lot. I am fortunate to have seen Kevin’s entire career among other legends across all of motorsport
one of the finest tributes to one of the finest drivers/car owner/friend/father/husband... 4EVER Happy to have had the chance to observe your greatness... THANK YOU KEVIN.
Wow, wow, wow!! I know Kevin is known as having a hard exterior and I just read an article by Bob Pockrass where he ask him, "As the end gets closer, have you gotten any more emotional?" Kevin went on to say," I have not." If this doesn't do it I don't know what will. I'm gonna bet it hits him all at the same time time. Maaaybe not this weekend and we probably may never know but I bet it hits him sometime in the near future. He and his management team have did an excellent job of showing what his racing career and family life have been all about.
I’m definitely going to miss clicking on channel 4 and listening to him, Rodney and Tim during the race!! You sir were simply one of the most to play the game!! #4EVER my friend!!
before of this i was watching the 2013 coca cola 600 when kevin won that race, i had feel so happy that day when nascar start with the gen 6 car, I'm from Argentina and I'm a big fan from kevin and 2014 he won the championship and 2017 season he was pretty good i remember when he won in sonoma my favorite road course track in 2018 he was so good fighting for the championship as well, and 2020 when the races returning after the covid he start to win like a superhero hahaha he was close to fight the championship again but the lastest races was complicated so I'm a huge fan greetings from Argentina and all the best for you and enjoy your family
Thanks for everything Kevin my favorite nascar memories of you when you won the Daytona 500 back in 2007 I was 5 years old watching that race but with you drove that 29 RCR car and number 4 for Stewart haas racing it’s my favorite memory 4ever
Thank you for this series SHR. First race I ever watched as a kid was the 2001 Daytona 500…haven’t stopped watching since. Kevin’s story and career is one that I will remember. This series brought back a lot of good memories of his success and impact over the years. So glad I get to watching him race one last time this Sunday, in person. Let’s get one last win to CLOSE out this great career!
I'm going to miss seeing Kevin on the race track. I've watched him race in 2000 when I was only 5 years and now I'm 28 years old about to see his final race. Kevin's been one of my role models as I've been growing up, and now I have molded myself into a strong leader and someone who is driven to succeed thanks to him. I'm forever a Kevin Harvick Fan, one last win, one last ride. Good luck and I can't wait to see him in the booth next year. #4EVER
Kevin was never my favorite driver, but I always respected him. He was always fun to watch and raced people fairly. He was always good to me in person. I was surely pulling for him to win from the stands in Darlington this fall. His leadership and fire will be missed by all of us fans. I'm so glad he'll still be part of our sport. Thank you for everything you have done and will do for this sport. I have thoroughly enjoyed these pieces this season. Thank you for this euniqeu look at a legend of NASCAR!
It is absolutely phenomenal that people talk about him this way before his death. And indoor the day that we never want to come. Cause you're talking like hes dead. And I love it. This man deserves all the respect in the world. Just like Kyle Bush and Kyle Larson. AND Many more you guys are carrying on legacy thank you. I am 37 just to put it in perspective. I love the old time, great ONES
Thank you Kevin for everything. You brought me back to the sport in 2012, an taught me to always stay in it till the end and always race with respect an demand respect
Wasn't a fan of Kevin until he and Delana started sharing Keelan with us. To me Kevin with be 4EVER a great Dad to Keelan and Piper and a great husband to Delana. Gonna miss seeing you race and your fierce determination on the track.
When people ask you who's your favorite athlete, star or, celebrity. I would say harvick. Ever since i was born I've been a massive fan. I've always loved racing and he's been my number 1 guy. Also when people ask you who you look up to I would say harvick with the exception of my dad or grandfather's. He will go down as one of the best and will be a first ballot hall of famer.
When you take the emotions of Raceday out of everything, this is the result you get from his peers speaking of him. I think one of the most respected drivers out there and he will be missed on the track.
Winning at a track he dominated at would be a fitting send off. Even though there are other drivers I root for more, I really hope Kevin can get the win on Sunday
Kevin had so many wins where he came out of nowhere, the ultimate clutch driver. Also gotta love the flex of guys like Denny and Joey in these interviews. Denny in front of his 3 Daytona 500 trophies and the winning car and Joey with his 2 Cups 😂
Nice post, SHR! Kevin deverves much respect for his professionalism throughout his career! Enjoy your retirement, Kevin! Look forward to hearing/seeing you in the Fox booth in the spring!!
Ray Evernham said some drivers can take a 5th place car and finish 5th with it but Jeff Gordon could take a 5th place car and win with it. I feel like Kevin Harvick could do that.
Absolutely. Look at what he did at RCR when the rest if his teammates were running mid pack or further back, he was running top 5 and competing for wins. Did the same at SHR. Imagine if he had Hendrick or Gibbs equipment
i would like to know how this mans shoes will ever be filled i have seen so many drivers in 40 plus years retire and never seen so much emotion from everyone this to me really sucks cuz im a serious harvick fan but thats life we move on i just dont see myself being a fan of someone else at this point its very sad actually to see him leave
I thought the subtitles were turned on and went to turn them off, but they're actually part of the video. I don't need subtitles of words for the same language that is spoken, and certainly not stuck to the video itself. Wonder why they can no longer leave it up to us to decide. They are super distracting.
Someone needs to just walk up to him and tell him to have fun finishing 5th at phoenix since no one can beat the champ 4 just so he wins it to prove em all wrong🙏🏽 he needs that fire in him one last time this weekend
I'm trying to figure out who I'll route for in the future. I keep loosing the drivers I love to retirement. Kevin is kind of the last of that group for me and I'm afraid for the direction of the sport. Nascar is so busy trying to encompass everyone one and jacking with the cars. They may very well could start shutting a lot of us purest out by turning us off.
Blaney your working on a HALL of Fame career too now buddy,Joey Logano Denny is already there Truex is there Kyle Busch is there Kurt Busch Brad Keslowski I put Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott there too, All HOFmers
Thanks for everything, Happy. I don't know if I have it in me to root for anyone else the way I rooted for you. Give 'em hell this weekend.
One of the best! Always! #4ever!
Thanks for the memories Harvick!!

I'm going to miss him. He did a lot of good for racing. And seeing RC say 4ever was tremendous. The 29 is my go to, but he did so well in the 4.
Really going to miss Kevin Harvick going to work Sundays. Thanks for all the memories happy.

#4EVER Kevin Harvick you have a great career with SHR and winning the championship in 2014
I've watched Kevin since his Winston west days. Hard to believe his last race is Sundays. Thanks for the years Kevin

I've never seen a driver go out like this. What a tribute!!!
Gonna be sad when the race ends on Sunday. I'm glad I'll be there. Thank you, Kevin! #4EVER

Holy crap, im in this video at 19.27. Gonna miss Kevin, been a heck of a ride.

Perfectly said! Agree 100%
Been a harvick fan sine I was little, I don’t think I’ll ever root for someone like I did Kevin. Thanks for the memories 🥲
Winning at a track he dominated at would be a fitting send off. Even though there are other drivers I root for more, I really hope Kevin can get the win on Sunday
This is the best one yet! Great job!

Gonna miss this dude so much. Seen him win 2 races in person and I’ve been a fan since 05 gonna be real different without him.
Phoenix needs to have LAP 4 for HARVICK broadcast is silent “ Crank It Up “ style and the fans hold up 4 fingers and are LOUD!!
Wow. Incredible. At least we get him in the booth.

@clintonmonk8134 Yeah he probably would've had 3 or 4 championships and many more race wins

Funny, as much as Mike Joy knows his history he should have remembered he gave him the closer nickname with Gil Martin at RCR.

one last ride
Denny it's up to you or Kyle or Martin to become the next leader of the garage area
Funny the Mayor Jeff Burtons son says Kevin Harvick is the mayor

Still salty at Harrison for costing Kevin the win at Phoenix earlier in the season.
