I am an American living in India and there is some issues with being different and not allowing people into ur daily life - people will take any opportunity to be abusive , controlling or even physically violent I have same footage where 15 individuals led by some local thug came to beat me and I was alone with my 4 yrs old daughter - I was lucky enough to send her away to a neighbors house before the beating ensued - I also have most of it on CCTV footage - we preach acceptance and coexistence but India is far from that - that is the sad reality of society across the world now - we have not evolved passed this as a species

This same situation happens with me and my roommate 2 years ago. I rented a room with my roomate here in Greater Noida, Alpha-1, house no. E-220. Some local people call them self Gujjars start coming every next week asking for money Rs 600. They say it is for security camera. But we came to know that camer were installed by government. In whole society they came only at our room. If we refuse to pay they were start Shouting that they were local Gujjars. I am from Patna and my roommate is from Asansol.

Hi. My mom has been going through the same trauma for the past 6 months because she feeds a stray in our society. A few ladies bullied her in a society WhatsApp group abusing her, and calling her names. She is a differently abled person and she also has adopted a puppy that lost a leg. The worst part was they called her a "langdi aurat and langdi Kutta" and whatnot. . The RWA has been torturing us in so many ways. My mother has all the evidence with her. They even placed a CCTV pointing straight into our kitchen which is a blatant disregard of our privacy. My mom has been going to the PS so many times and the cop has made no effort to do anything. His indifferent attitude is demotivating but my mother is not one to easily give up. But I'm scared given they live in Delhi and things can go south so easily. Sometimes I wonder why people who follow all the rules suffer invariably in the hands of laws that were formed to protect us. And also the RWA is managed by a few gundas who elected themselves and have been abusing and writing fines like it is their own. I can't wait for my dad to retire and get the fuck out of that place. I'm just hoping that writing this long message here would help her in some ways, somehow because she's fighting her battle all alone there.
It's not just Delhi, but such experiences are everywhere across India. Problem is not everyone is ready to fight against such people and that's why they win. We lived our entire life in Mumbai and have been experiencing something similar. At one point we even thought of moving to a smaller city(Jaipur was also on the list) thinking that all these are problems faced in bigger cities, but doesn't look like that's the case. My mom went through 10 years of depression. Since didn't cause any harm to anyone, but one of our neighbors named her as "mental" or "mad". When my dad complained in the society, we got a written letter from the society members and the committee that my mom is mad and should be taken to a good doctor for care. Also she was doing was so was not feeling good when left alone and was getting suicidal thoughts. My dad was the only working member in the family and me and bro were going to colleges for study and hence there was hardly anyone at home. Although we used to try to stay at home with her as much as possible. Our neighbors told her that she can visit and sit with them during such times, so she used to go to their place sometimes only to realize later that they were the ones who were making fun of her and named her as "mad". Before she went into depression, she was the one who helped raise my neighbors kids and since they didn't have any money they used to fight for food and my mom used to give them food almost everyday for their kids. Later I started bunking lectures in my college to be with her.

I am married with Brazilian, I was beaten in such a small incident when I went out shopping with my wife, I left my scooter side of the road, an old person start fighting & pushing me for no reason, my scooter was beside the footpath, have nothing to do with him, he call more people they kept threatening me, try to break my scooter and more people came later, they start hitting me, some hit very bad in my head, later the atendents of the shopping came out, and they left us...but it was a horrible experience and I got injured in my head, 3 days I can't get up from bed properly, and tha time my wife was pregnant they keep abusing her also, and my 3 years kid also was with me, it was nightmare for him, he keep saying about the incident 2 weeks, they beat my dad again and again, india is very unsafe place for those guys who are married with foreighners, men are always being attacked, like they did some crime that loved a woman from other country

This was actually wrong with Julie and Arjun, I have seen Julie's video she is always saying good things about India in her video, but if this is how she (or any outsider) is going to be treated then what impression we are creating of India. This is another reason, why some Indians choose to live in a different country to avoid such toxic thought process

Some local people call them self Gujjars start coming every next week asking for money Rs 600. They say it is for security camera. But we came to know that camer were installed by government. In whole society they came only at our room. If we refuse to pay they were start Shouting that they were local Gujjars. I am from Patna and my roommate is from Asansol.

Hey, I just came on your channel after watching the incident, your points were valid, and on spot, there were just so many breaches of laws and the police didn't handle it well at all. I am writing this comment from the US, I have lived and grown up in India for 15 years. I have stumbled upon Juli's channel before but their police video was recommended on my feed. First of all, right off the bat, I feel our nation is going downhill, it should be going up and improving but it's totally the opposite. Second, the police are supposed to be honest with the citizens and protect the citizen, but it seems so fishy and corrupt. Third, you cannot control your pet's digestive system, a pet dog or cat will poop wherever they feel safe and comfortable, and there is no right time for it. I have watched all the videos that they have posted until July 1st, why are "owners" and "renters" of the property treated differently, this is absolutely disgusting how there is inequality in our nation which is known for "togetherness". Fourth, why the "alleged Judge" and "govt. employee" has more rights and seem like they are right in the situation, and the police not trying to learn both sides of the story. Fifth, posting videos on the online world is the job for Juli and Arjun, that's their income, that's the thing that puts food on their table, they have all the rights to record everywhere, unless in a prohibited area, which society doesn't include in "private prohibited area" to record because there are security camera's everywhere, plus they have all the rights to record videos for evidence, and police saying that turn off the camera on their property is totally wrong. I feel so disgusted when I see people from a society supporting the people who are doing wrong and want to create all the problems with innocent people. This makes me think people like these exist and will do anything to destroy an innocent human and won't get in trouble because of their "connections". I really hope Juli and Arjun get justice and get help however they can. This is not how you treat a foreigner or a human in general.

1. This area is not Jaipur it’s a crime zone next to Jaipur in a village area where power speaks.
2. There was a case from Jaipur where a boy killed a women because she was harassing him for the same reason a DOG so u can imagine.
3. I faced the same kind of situation in the same area in the beginning of COVID, when I was helping French and German citizens nearby 15 - 20 people by providing them accommodation in my place but the society gathered n said we will not allow foreigners they brought COVID to our country, even the police supported them n the embassy did nothing to...
So for their safety I couldn’t let them stay in my own place can u imagine?
