Lol the amount of times you went "i'm good, right?" at the same spot and was immediately caught off guard was amazing. Had no idea you could barrel roll, looks like it speeds up the longer you do it just like flips. This is definitely one of the five pc hotwheels games i enjoyed most in my childhood, another being the sequel
It has a certain look to it. I read somewhere that the environment around you is actually a pre-rendered "cutscene". And then, the track is somehow layered over it. So, the "cutscene" is just sped up and slowed down depending on the car's "speed". It's definitely a good way of keeping the file size small, and making the load times instantaneous.
@@overdrive_srs Yep, it's all a premade FMV! Your car is just running around on collision data synced to the visuals. From a technical level, it's really impressive.
There will be just one more episode, since this game is very short. Also, I realized later that it’s not Zotic, it’s Speed Blaster. Thanks for watching!
@@HotmanGaming No worries, I figured out the controls. It didn't take long for me to figure out how to roll stunt if that's what you're talking about. The key for that was a little unintuitive but I figured it out.
@@HotmanGaming If you see me mess up in the video, don't worry, that's just me being bad, not from a lack of understanding of the controls. I actually wanted to do it in a minimum of 2 episodes, maximum of 3, so this is perfectly fine. That way, the next video is focused solely on the secret cars, custom track builder, and secret track.
Oh, that's pretty cool! I think I remember seeing that a long time ago but I completely forgot it exists! They seem to have put quite a bit of effort into making that unique demo, which is surprising because normally you'd just expect the first level of the final game to be the demo, or some limited portion of the final game. Instead, they created something new just for the demo. Interesting.

Such a weird game. I don't think I've seen anything quite like it anywhere else.

Finally!! 😀 By the way, if you click the first T in the Mattel logo and then click the green arrow, you will unlock the secret track.

@@HotmanGaming Wait, how did you screw me over?

Great video. Have you seen the demo of this? It's a different level that's not in the main game.
