It looks great but I embed screws into wood at angles and close to inside corners. It's a no-go for my purposes. I'll stick with the perennial drywall screw gun style magnetic bit holder with which there are no restrictions. I love innovation in any case.

Thanks , but as a mechanic my main issue is bit breakage I’ve been using Irwin bits for last year but last week I broke 3 🤢 they just can’t win on these as if not hard enough they strip if to hard they snap. The heat treat is hard to do when cost is the goal

I have the Dewalt angle bit holder,it fits into my Bosch 1/2 /1/4 square drive impact driver, it is just right to fit in the pull back locking collar, I am amazed I never had one before, and the magnetic hold is ok,

As a hardware installer I love the pivot holder, no quick release mechanism but it's super handy for tight situations and I keep a pair of needle nose pliers to switch bits which I don't have to do often because I mainly use Phillips screws. It is magnetic too.

What is the difference between this and the regular DeWalt magnetic screwdriving bit drive guide with the sleeve? Don't they both do the same?..... I am sold. I am going to get the DEWALT TOUGH GRIP 27-Piece Steel Hex Shank Screwdriver Bit Set at Lowe's today as it is currently on sale for only $9.98 (retail $19.98) and it actually comes with this Tough Grip rapid load tool as well as the regular magnetic screwdriving bit drive guide too. It even comes with 4 hex drill bits too. I compared the Tough Grip rapid load tool to this magnetic screwdriving bit holder and the difference is a "SureSet magnetic fastener holding system".

However, as far as using it for small framing tasks, I can't see how the head of the screw will self-counter sink when toe screwing through the end of a 2x4 like you can with a commonly used straight shank bit. It seems the shoulder on this bit holder would be prevent the countersink. I could be wrong. Anyways, nice locking feature.
