UPDATED: I was 545 pounds 2 1/2 months ago. I put on a lot of weight do to me giving up when life hit me incredibly hard. (It’s very personal stuff I don’t wanna explain) I be been at this going from 15 mins every other day, to 30 mins then 30 mins every day to an hour Monday’s Wednesday and Fridays and 30 mins Tuesday and Thursday. I’m now 502 3 months in. I can’t thank you enough for the help you gave me
Update: as of now. 9 months later and a year into it. I’m now 411. It’s been hard. I’ve been stuck at 411-417 for the last 3ish months. Been hard to keep going but I am. To everyone reading this. You got it. Im proud of you.
Update 2: it’s May 2, 2024. I’m almost 2 years in. I’m 392 as of today. I got lazy during Christmas. I just took a break from counting calories and working out. I started back up in march and have been consistent again. All of your kind words brought me to tears. I’m not sure if anyone who commented will see this but you all have been major inspiration. ❤️

Recently I've decided to change my life, as iam young and figured I didn't wanna die literally tomorrow. I'm 23 and when I started working out 3 weeks ago I was 375 pounds. I've lost 15 pounds as of today working out along with these videos everyday. 15 pounds isn't a whole lot given how much I weigh, but its a start. I wanted to say thank you for making these videos, cause I honestly didn't know where to start. I look forward to excercising along with you in the future. Thank you again for helping me. 😊

I do this one every evening and if I feel its not enough I do African dance, I think its called kukuwa - let's shine, its a 15 minute workout. But I also have been dieting following the instructions from my 600 pound life, which is high protein low fat foods. I hope this helps. 😊

Battling depression here and gained a LOT of weight. Yes, 45 seconds is a hard push. Yesterday I couldn't do each one at 45 (I still kept moving) and today I DID do the full 45. A little slow on some things and may have wanted to die towards the end but I did it. Not gonna lie I am pretty damn proud of myself 😁 THANK YOU for making this fun and being so encouraging through out! Tomorrow will be a better day ❤

I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. I know this comment has been made many times in the comment section but I started out at 244. I have an 11 year old daughter and finally reached the point where I didn't want to be a poor role model anymore and I wanted to live to see her graduate. I changed my diet a lot and lost 25 pounds and then decided I needed to exercise and discovered you on YT. I am now 155lbs and I work out every single day to your video's. What makes you important? 1) You provide real beginning workouts for those of us who haven't moved our bodies in years, 2) You never make any judgements, 3) You encourage people to stick it out at their own rate, that's important, 5) You have workouts for all levels, 4) You have a great and positive attitude. You are in the business of changing lives for the better. What more can you ask for from life. Thank you.

Why do you all keep referring to others who are in shape as not being "real people?" No one starts off being fit and toned...it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. It's great to be on your own journey but you don't have to put down other peoples bodies to feel good about your own...fit bodies are real bodies too!!!

    • @asiaaiesisa9845
      @asiaaiesisa9845 3 ปีที่แล้ว +86

Hi, ummm I didn’t mean to cause drama and definitely meant no offence to people who are already fit and slim that’s for sure 🙏 all I meant was that in a lot of video’s, people use people who are already fit and slim, so for me it’s hard to see results in that way because me being big and seeing the people they use who already slim and fit demotivates me to even try knowing how big I am as opposed to how slim and fit they already are, that was all 🤷‍♀️ but yes it’s true.. the people who are fit and slim may have or have worked their way to get to where they are, I just find it hard to relate to seeing already slim people delivering how to loose weight videos if I make sense? But anyways, nothing but love ❤️ Peace out ✌🏽

When I started working out, I was sucked into the fitness influencer, high impact cardio "shred" workout videos and I would become so discouraged because I could only do about half of it and I felt like I wasn't fit enough to do any workouts. I now realize that low impact is exactly what I need. I am able to get through the WHOLE VIDEO with minimal breaks and instead of feeling broken down and dying of exhaustion at the end, I feel really good and invigorated. I never thought that completing a workout video would mean so much to me, but it does really make me feel like I accomplished something big and I am always smiling at the end of body project videos, due to the really kind words shared. This is my 3rd session with you guys and I am still crying after finishing the session. this really means so much to me! After all the body-shaming that happened to me, I am doing my best to be at my best fit. I am still fat at the moment but at this 3rd session, I can feel that my stamina is really getting stronger. My body is getting used to moving and I am happy right now with the result but I have a long road to take still. Thank you body project! Hi, I'm from Massachusetts(USA), and I just wanted to say that I'm so very grateful that you've made these workouts to share with us. I've neglected my body for far too long and I am so ashamed and embarrassed. I am out of breath after doing the most simple things. This week I started doing your videos daily. Every other day I do a 30 minute video and then I circle back to this video on the alternating days. It is such an extreme workout. It definitely kicks my butt and there have been times were I have literally felt sick to my stomach, after pushing myself so hard. There have been days where I've dropped to my knees and wanted to quit right then and there. This is my second time I've done this video. The first time I couldn't finish it all the way thru, today I did. I felt sick to my stomach and I still pushed myself. The gentleman in this video and the others is so inspiring and motivating that without him, I'm not sure I'd be able to get through the entire workout. Thank you so very much, from the bottom of my heart for your encouragement and your support. It's almost been a week since I've done these videos and even though I haven't lost anything yet, I definitely feel better after having done them. 💜

After realizing how much my health deteriorated during quarantine, I've decided to make this year about my health. I managed to quit smoking a few months ago (after trying for almost a year, yay!) and started to make home-cooked meals more often. Now I'm starting to exercise after a long time of constant depression naps, and even though I still feel a bit winded and sometimes can't finish the session, it feels so good to see that every day I can do a little bit more. These videos give me so much inspiration to exercise that I have actually started to miss them when I'm taking a day to rest lol. Thank you so much

I like that these workouts make me feel like I’m achieving something and I can actually finish them. So many workouts for beginners are ridiculously hard, making me want to give up before I’ve even really got started. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world!

I have cholinergic urticaria, so i never like exercise or do sport because it feels uncomfortable and i cant do it with my friends either because i dont want people to see me when the allergie come, it can really bad, i love to feel the burn and break a sweat but not the allergie, i found this channel and now i found that workout is my favorite thing to do. I always come to this channel everyday to do it on my room alone or with my family. At first i always do the 30 min video, now i reached the 45 min video and planning to buy a mat and dumbell, i never feel lonely when i do the workout, they always show low to high intensity so i always have choice in future. Definetely my favorite workout channel, love the support and energy they give through the video. My best pray for all of you ❤

I just gotta take a moment to shout out the amazing folks at Body Project. Seriously, seeing all your comments about how life-changing it is has hit me right in the feels. Big thank you for featuring real people like us and crafting workouts that work for everyone. Personally, I've dropped about 30 pounds just sweating it out with you guys. Now, I'm jumping back into the routine, even with a bit of extra weight on me, but I'm pushing through. It really speaks volumes about how effective your workouts are. So, major thanks for being a game-changer and keeping it real for all of us! THIS IS MY DAY 1 BACK AT IT, and I WILL BE POSTING MY PROGRESS.

Please don't give up! I have also lost around 30 pounds so far since January doing their workouts. I fell off the wagon a few times, but I am back on track also staying consistent (3-4 times a week) and I feel better than ever. Please give us updated with your progress. Remember, it is a journey. A journey you will not regret tackling your health. God bless!

This is becoming my favorite workout! I started doing the workouts about two months ago on YT and I am now a TBP member. I love the wide variety of workouts they offer, not just cardio but resistance/strength training as well. A year membership is equal to 10 USD per month, which is a steal! Wonderful supportive community at TBP. I do TBP workouts every single day (except Sundays), usually more than one per day, at the young age of 58. For me this particular workout burns 344 active calories and 422 total calories per my Apple Watch. I know it isn't entirely accurate but it gives a rough estimate. I currently weigh 165 lbs (down from over 200 lbs in March 2020).

This is the first workout video I've been able to get through without feeling either in pain due to hypermobility issues or left feeling like I'm too fat to do this. I feel great and tired and sweaty and it's awesome that there's such a positive welcoming workout to join in with. Can't wait to try more.

I was diagnosed with Morton’s Neuroma in both feet first thing if 2021. After all other non surgical interventions failed to resolve the issue, I eventually had to have surgery in March, and June this year in both feet to remove the nerves. I’m so thankful I found you, Caroline Jordan, Donavan Green, and others to help me stay fit and active throughout this whole process.
It’s funny because when I went in for my second surgery, the nurse told me: “You have athletes vitals.” All I had been doing for the past 8 months or so was low impact/chair workouts! They are no joke!
I’m still not fully recovered and it’s going to take some time. (Looks like there is scar tissue that needs to be broken up) Needless to say, thank you for your workouts!! 💪💪💪

Progress not perfection.. It’s a prvilege to move. These are inspiring and empowering messages.

I came across this video one day and I have to say I cry after every workout because I am loving your energy your vibe your mood just all of it. First video I’ve ever seen who have real people real weight problems and over all you make us all feel ok to take a break or Pause the video. You’re amazing!!! FYI ever since 2020 I’ve suffered with anxiety and this helps me!! I’ve gone from one video a week to now three videos a week!!
