Gday mate, that’s got to be the most cod marbles I’ve ever seen collected in one day,i hope the sheath is old and the bar is gold. Love the old buttons and ammunition well done, all the best and safe and well 🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️ awesome finds

Your plain faced button with the conical shank plate is a late 18TH century "Tombac" metal button - not fancy but very, very nice. Thanks for the great videos.
Pretty simple to figure out if it's gold or Brass/Copper. Just measure out dimensions in cubic centimetres and the weight in grams to calculate the density in grams per cubic centimetre. Gold is 19.3 grams per cubic centimetre, copper/brass will be half that at around 9 grams per cubic centimetre.

Another day of interesting finds. I’m a blue and white china lover and I think that the piece you found might be made by Johnson Brothers of England with the pattern name of “Paris”.
The knife you found is a lock knife with the blade missing. The metal visible on the one found is the unlocking mechanism which you press to enable the knife to be closed. Because of this, lock knives are not classed as folding knives and it is illegal to carry a lock knife in the UK.
As a follow up to my previous comment, I just read your appointment with the museum got canceled. I hope you are able to reschedule when it is safe to do so.

When I see the bullets and military buttons, I can’t help but wonder who they belonged to and why they are in the river. Hope the bar is gold!
You could see how much water the gold colored bar displaces to work out the density. Gold is about twice as dense as brass it should seem surprisingly heavy for the volume, which is why I'm leaning toward brass or bronze.
