I enjoyed the fossil finds, but that big chunk of coral blew me away! It was huge...as coral found on the foreshore. Wonderful to see you again Aussie, you're always a breath of fresh air.
Lovely to see your cheery face again on the foreshore! Funnily enough we found an echinoid this weekend too. Melts my brain a bit thinking about that length of time. Hopefully we'll be able to join you soon for a socially distanced lark. Take care, Josie and Andy 😃
Awesome finds, love the fossils and i hope you took the coral. Happy Easter and god bless and stay safe and well, much love from a fellow Aussie 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺🇦🇺
I think your "bottle cork" piece is actually and electric insulator with the pole mount inside. The "club" might be the end of a long pole used to maneuver a boat or barge in shallow water. The echinoid fossil is a neat find.
Finding plastic on the foreshore always makes me sad and I remove as much of it as I can, the sea urchin plates in flint are beautiful but I not sure on the other two stones, the coconut and coral reminds me of two coconuts that I found at Rotherhithe..... I think they were offerings and I let the tide carry them on their onward journey, a nice piece of coral too -I've found different types of coral again in the Rotherhithe area.... I always use very hot but not boiling water and an old toothbrush to clean coral initially then soak it in fresh water and changing it daily for six weeks outside to let the UV light help with getting rid of staining from the mud 🤗
My very first comment ever to say thank you for such a fun adventure. Finding the fossil was better than finding a diamond. Imagine! That was a life 65 million years ago.
Another interesting walk on the "foreshore". Usually, you have a habit of finding more than one musket ball at a time. What made up for that, was the fascinating fossils and that glorious coral. Wow.! 😊👍xx
Love the mysterious new type of mud lark finds. I have a rather odd question and one I’ll apologize for in advance but does the foreshore have a foul smell at low tide?
Hi Andrew great and entertaining video, Autumn in Oz and weather is perfect. Hope you had a great Easter. Much love Sue Gosling Adelaide south Australia
That was a nice chunk of coral and great for displaying other treasures. Do they make Vegemite Easter Eggs? lol I would still prefer that to a cream one!
We crown you the king of round objects by the Thames! 😉 Never seen any other mudlarks find so many musket balls, grapeshots, footballs, fossilized nuts and coconuts as you have. Coconut fish curry...hahaha! 🤣
Rupert (the Chihuahua) and I hate to be rude when you work so hard on producing such fabulous films but your Pirate and Tom Hanks impersonations were awful!
The tropics on the Thames! Great fun mudlarking finds and fun.😄😄
Some very nice finds - especially the fossils - Thanks for sharing... Looking forward to the next....
Thank you 😊
Beautiful Spring day just perfect for a mudlark!! Great fossil finds, they re always so intresting!
I really enjoy the quality of your videos. The dialogue and time spent on your pieces are just right. Thanks
Thank you

12:36 looks like an old hand held torch.
Great finds today. That fossil was absolutely awesome, what a find. I thought initially, it was a piece of pottery with a face 🤣
Another fascinating outing thank you. What a fabulous sky. London can scrub up well at times!
Always very entertaining. Thank you.
Thank you Ian
Not Wilson, Sandi!🤣🤣👏👏👍🇦🇺

Some very old finds! Cool! Idea, with musket balls build a pyramid to set next to your grapeshot balls.
Great idea Pam
Great video!
Thanks tom
Love your humour! Great finds today some really interesting items, look forward to your next one ❤️🇦🇺👋xxx
Thank you Siona
Fossilized nut!!! That’s what I call my crazy uncle. He’s ok with it, stating it’s one step better than being an antique. Happy Easter 🐣
😂

I didn’t keep it 😬
My very first comment ever to say thank you for such a fun adventure. Finding the fossil was better than finding a diamond. Imagine! That was a life 65 million years ago.
Thank you for commenting Marilyn
Thanks for the Carribean feeling Andrew! It's getting cold here in Germany again, on Monday it will snow again! Happy Easter to you!
I hope it warms up soon
Phenomenal finds. How crazy cool to find so many oh so tropicals along The Thames. Jaw drop echinoid from before the time of the dinos. Incredible.
Happy Easter
Thank you

@@TheAussieMudlark ahem! 🙋🏼♀️😜
Hello from Cape Town 👋
Hello Valerie
I also thought it was a fossilized nut!
Glad it wasn’t just me
Hi Andrew great and entertaining video, Autumn in Oz and weather is perfect. Hope you had a great Easter. Much love Sue Gosling Adelaide south Australia
Thank you Susan
Nice, thank you.
You’re welcome
Maybe the tool has something to do with packing gunpowder in a cannon or something? Dunno. Great finds! Loving the fossils!
Quite the tropical day! Very interesting fossils
Thank you
The coral was taken on as ballast by ships. Hope you took it with you.
I didn’t 😬
@@TheAussieMudlark awww too bad it was at least mid 19th century maybe older.
Wonderful😀👏👏👏
Well done on the fossil finds
So many fossils 👍🏼. Lucky you 🤗🍀
nice video as usual mate :)
So, do you think the musketballs were actually shot, or just dropped? Thanks for another fun video!
I would imagine most of them would have been shot
That was a nice chunk of coral and great for displaying other treasures. Do they make Vegemite Easter Eggs? lol I would still prefer that to a cream one!
😂I’m not sure I could eat that
I think the cork thing could be a insulator... a tiny one
We crown you the king of round objects by the Thames! 😉 Never seen any other mudlarks find so many musket balls, grapeshots, footballs, fossilized nuts and coconuts as you have. Coconut fish curry...hahaha! 🤣
Thank you 😊
Looks like the end of a oar
Missed you on Sunday April 11th.
Vids every fortnight for a while now. Work is a bit to busy at the moment 😔
I'm number 1 , Happy Easter great video
🎉🎉🎉
Interesting video .what's the music called that's on your videos?. It's v good too
It is TH-cam music, they seem to be the only ones that does give copyright strikes
I agree it's a leg for someone who has lost a leg
Imagine that 😳
Haha! Not in this pare of Australia. Autumn and 26 degrees in Newcastle. Mmmmm,m,
Wilson! 😉
🤣
could it be a cannon ram rod
I hadn’t thought about that 😲
🙋♀️🐥🐰🐤🐣👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank God we don't eat vegimite in South Africa
😂
cork - insulator. A fishing priest or a post hole rammer.
Thanks mate
it's not winter..it is spring.
You will have to let us know if you figure out if it is a fossilized nut!!!😱😁
My dad is a fossilized nut
😂
Rupert (the Chihuahua) and I hate to be rude when you work so hard on producing such fabulous films but your Pirate and Tom Hanks impersonations were awful!
😂 I appreciate your honesty 😂
