- Nitara was a fan favourite from Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance. She's a special type of vampire that lives eternally but can also reproduce, which lead the Vaternians to a population crisis. Everyone on the Roster despises Nitara and her peers because they don't wanna be eaten.

I so wish Nitara's voice actor would take lessons from Skarlet's in MK11. Skarlet embodied the feeling of hunger, Nitara just lacks something.
Nitara's voice isn't that bad. The reason why people think it sounds bad it's because Megan Fox isn't getting used to voice acting.

Voice acting aside, the problem with Nintara isn't her desperation to help her people, its the fact that she and her people want to save their immortality at the litteral expense of everyone's lives. If she and all vanterians see any and all races as cattle, then they deserve an eternity of whatever is coming to them.
I think this is Liu Kangs fck up, vampirism is their nature, he tried to alter it, but even he can't change the nature of a thing, as a result vampirism emerged again, although it wasn't in his design.
Now, from your point of view death is natural, you can't escape it, from her point of view it's either kill or starve, so you're basically blaming her for refusing to die.
Liu Kang is basically doing the same, his position is like "abandon vampirism and you'll be ok", for them it sounds like "kys".
So, she's basically right and wrong at the same time, it's not their fault, it's Liu Kang fault, but even with that, there are other ways to live without using other species as a cattle, might be it will come in the future, like humans also used to do slavery, but now it's almost entirely in the past.
Nitara wants to kidnap billions of people and force them into becoming cattle, breeding them like animals and syphoning blood out of them for her fellow vampires. If that isn't a reason to hate her, then what is?

I'm not an expert on MK lore (especially from the 3d era) but based on the dialogue it implies that Vaternians originally didn't feed on blood. But when they found out doing so granted them immortality, it became their obsession and now they need it in order to keep them all from going extinct. And if that's the case, then everything Raiden said about Vaternian's wounds being self-afflicted is absolutely true.

The latest invasion storyline had Liu Kang go to another timeline where the Vaternians still used blood but had a much more peaceful way of life and used their magic to help others. So they defintely could find a alternate solution.

I won't say Megan Fox is bad but man she really needs to put more emotion into it, it's like she's reading as the game goes on.
As I listen to her lines more, I hear the correct intonations, but she still sounds soooooo bored. And by "lines" I mean VS banter, her story lines are bad as hell

@@maxrichards3881 Another character suggested feeding on lesser creatures, like animals. Nitara insisted that humans *are* lesser creatures. Vaternians refuse any solution that doesn't involve killing people, so people have no reason to want anything but their extinction.

Also, honestly, sometimes Megan Fox's seemingly dull phrases actually sound rather sarcastic towards her overconfident, hammy, and cheesy opponents. Even makes me chuckle.
Considering Vaeternians consider themselves above other sentient life, the full tone makes sense.

I know technically the end of Nitara arcade makes her hateable, but if you think about it, maybe it would be good if in a future DLC story extension we get a better understandinf of Vaternians before outright saying she deserves the hate, especially since we know theres other timelines

They need sentient beings blood to sustain immortality, there’s 2 feasible ways for them, either invade everyone and survive as long as there are any creatures or start farming.
She did suggest Li Mei to take prisoners, but was rejected.

Meg really didn't live up to the hype.
In all honesty, I start agreeing with Nitara. I mean, ffs, Liu Kang literally created them like that. Tarkatans are just people infected with an Outworldish plague, in other timelines, they were a legitimate race of war biomachines, and they were like that, because Kronika didn't give a damn, as she would, should have they all been exterminated (as Kotal Kahn rightfully did). But I have no clue what the vampires must have done to Liu Kang that he literally decided to create them overly hungry and doomed to either wage war on all other realms or straight up go extinct.
The more I hear of all that, the more I, hell, tolerate Megan Fox's acting.
Its not Liu Kang's decision that Vaternians be greedy for immortality let alone feed on other sentient beings for that purpose.
Like he said, Vaternus debased itself all because they sought immortality at the expense of others.
In conclusion, Mileena is right. All of the realms and existence as a whole would thrive without Vaternians and Vaternus.
It was their choice to thrist themselves with the blood of others for the sake of immortality while the tarkat desease could be able to have been brought back by shang sung for his experiment, like liu kang says, it wasn't meant to come back.

I like the old Nitara look. Bandana over one eye. This Nitara looks good. Well the 2nd costume she has. But......that voice acting, the red eye thing she does, and constant hissing in story mode really put me off from her. And get that head piece off her.
Yea I'm not a fan of the headpiece mohawk, I'll be using her Alt skin in future videos

In the minority here, but I kind of like how monotonous and bored Nitara sounds. It gives me the impression of someone who views her actions through a coldly logical lens, focusing solely on the ends over the means...plus, it gives the sense that Nitara isn't really taking anyone seriously, which fits Vaeturnus's general view of other races as nothing but living blood bags for them to feed on. Heck, maybe she's even deliberately trying to sound dispassionate in-universe to sell the "nothing personal" angle...which falls flat because everyone objects to her plans by principle, logic, and/or a desire to not be food for the local vampires.
Maybe if they made her more gothic looking then. Like Morticia Adams

Terrible design for the character and not a great voice either.
God the voice acting. Even Simon Cowell has more personality.
Not only is the delivery wooden, but her microphone quality is different than the others too.
Her voice just does not match her character. Casting stock white girl number #27 to play a terrifying vampire.
I still prefer her more "heroic" self from 3D era. She originally just wanted to free her realm and be done with it. The only reason why she even joined the forces of darkness in Armageddon was because she was mad to Ashrah for killing her people. Remember that Vaeternians posed no threat back then which means those killed by Ashrah were mostly innocent.
Yeah but this version got her realm back but they were on the brink of stravstion from being obsessed with their immortality

There's times where her voice acting isn't *too* bad, but other times... Man. They really should've given her more context to the lines and gotten her to ham it up a bit, she sounds like she's just reading off the script with little to no emotional inflection.
She sounds so generic and everytime she talks it breaks immersion
Thats probly because megan fox didn't want to do the grunts or punch sounds effects for nitara so they brought in another voice actress to do it for her basicly besides the story and intro lines its not megan fox which is lazy af

She pleads then threatens and whats worse is that they actively made the choice to gain immortality at the cost of the blood of others.
This thirst likely backfired on them as outworlders hate them for it, they likely think that their live stock to viternes; and to be fair... we see what nitara does in her ending. So their right. Also it seems viternes is also just... accepting that they're goijg to starve in a way. The refuse to get food and the only one we see in the new timeline trying to save it (at the cost of others) is nitara.

Emm, not really, she’s the Champion, chosen for this mission , she either does it or they banish her. She does understand that the elders were shortsighted, but as she said, it doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to survive.
It’s more like they were predetermined to acquire that, in all previous timelines they feed on blood.

So, it’s the same thing as with the Kenshi eyes, he always goes blind.
Also, Jack Black, Seth Rogen, and even Chris freaking Pratt do much better voice acting than Fox. Hell, if they want to pick Holly stars, they should go for those who voice acted before.
