I have almost the entire collection of Gale Force Nine collector’s series miniatures (including a lot of the older ones). They are incredibly detailed, much more than the prepainted ones.
To be honest, I think it's the new 5E giants who are the odd ones out. They're suddenly Huge instead of Large, they lost the dwarvish/viking beards and stocky builds they traditionally had, and their body shape is just like generic giants instead of being the dwarf equivalent to giantkind. It took me years to notice the unpainted Nolzur model was not a female, just an unbearded male giant! XD Reaper generally cultivate a somewhat old-school (or at least pre-5e D&D) style to their sculpts, so I guess this is why they can feel so odd. On the upside, the Dreadnought is pure brilliance, its two tower shields are magnificent.
Yea. I figured most people don't have the funds to get Gale force minis. Thats why I want to do videos on them. Let people see the difference and if it's worth it.
