Delivery Mileage Super Tenere Clutch Basket

This basket has only covered a very low mileage from new. They are designed this way so that the springs come into play as engine load rises. Other issues in the design mean they can cause unpleasant vibrations from new.

There in no longer a low cost modification. Not long after I put this up Yamaha introduced a totally different design of clutch basket with synthetic rubber blocks as an alternative to the steel springs. Buy their 2016 and on wards clutch basket. Its not listed as fitting earlier engines but its the same dimensions so will fit.
