Hi Scott, Excellent presentation. So, it appears I'm not the only one who has had their pulse generator fail. I hope the gentleman who sent in the question monitors your videos because I would suggest to him that he check out the recalls for Goldwings. I was unaware that there was a Goldwing recall on certain VINs of the GL1800. He might be able to get it repaired under the recall.
I am having trouble with my LCD SCREEN WORKING AND THEN NOT WORKING , CRUISE, Air pump , and turn signals not going off on their own ...lm gonna check my ground like you taught me . I was also wanting to add some kind of extra head lights and l now will have some brackets for the made .Man your great ! Thank you so much. Now lm having another problem, Starter ,alternator or battery .Battery is wet cell (basic) from Wally World ,but check out good at Oriellys auto ,plus l charged it up.Bike cranks good , but left me stranded at traffic light .Like the battery was dead .Finally fired off made up the road and stranded again. Finally cranked with no jump and drove like it should 15 miles no problem . Crank 4 or 5 times with no problems . Battery showing 85% .Took the battery out and charged to 100% , took it off the charger .The next morning battery was still at 100%..Bike crank fine .Rode her a out 15 miles stopped and she acted like a weak battery again .Got her home with out jump starting . Checked battery, it was ok. Bike cranked ok..She seemed to want to idle higher than normal.. and l hear like an electrical burst or squeeze while cranking. Some kick back or deiseling at times .All of these problem just started .1st the LCD and then this starting issue .Thank for your help, my friend.
I've never used that product, but looking at its MSDS, it appears to have primarily the same contents as Seafoam, so I would not be surprised if it did work the same.
I accidentally installed the new battery with the cables reversed on my 2018 Gold Wing, it blew the fuse, I have ordered a new fuse main 120/40. My question is did the reverse wiring do any damage to other components like the alternator or the computer chips. ? When I start the bike back up with the new fuse what should I be looking for . Thanks
Hi I have a 93 gl1500 and sometime when riding along on i lose power and to power it stalls then rafter few try’s starting it starts runs fine for a while I replaced fuel filter and plugs still get this what possible need to look at now as source of problem
My 2015 SE failed. I went to stop and I heard a noise that could have been the starter engaged. Turned it off would not start checked off uses relays that I checc'd had an extra relay which I bought from you didn't seem to change anything. - lights blinked. No reaction was starter. Was able to bump start it. I noticed when putting it in reverse pulling up on the lever immediately killed the engine.

Hi Scott. Do you think Liqui Moly will clean my carb internals on my 1983 gl1100 interstate? It runs good just idles a little rough.

When I got home it worked fine. I'm thinking starter relay not sure how it works with starter.

Doesn't it already have a relay?
