Proje ses, ışık ve mimari gibi farklı disiplinler arası alışverişlerle, mekansal ve görsel deneyimi bilinen algıların ötesine taşımaktadır. Her disiplin birbirlerinin sınırlarını geçip, diğerinin içine karışarak kendini güçlendirmektedir. Böylelikle izleyiciye sesin ışığa, ışığın mekana, mekanın ise çok katmanlı bir yapıya dönüştüğü bir deneyim sunmaktadır. NOHlab’in yerleştirmesi, yalnız sesin görselleştirmesini kurgulamaz, aynı zamanda izleyicinin zaman ve mekan algısının farklı boyutlarını keşfetmesine ve gerçeklik algısının kırılmasına olanak tanır.
This project relocates spatial and visual experience beyond the common perception by interdisciplinary interactions between sound, light and architecture. Every discipline makes itself stronger by going into the other’s boundaries and melting into one another. Therefore, it offers to the audience an experience in which the sound transforms into light, the light into a place, the place into a multi-layered construction. NOHlab’s installation does not only create a visualization of sound, but it also enables the audience to explore different dimensions of perception on time and space, thus breaks the sense of reality.
