I'm so happy I have found this channel. I've been wanting to learn and speak the Nahuatl language because I wanna know how my ancestors spoke. Thank you so much 👋👍
Tlatzocamatzin carnal. Mi familia tiene raizes Nahua pero lastima que la cultura se a perdido sobre las generaciones cargando pena de nuestra sangre indigina. I absolutely thank you very much brother. You have taken the most noble and honorable path by becoming a teacher and I am very heartfelt knowing amazing people like you carry on and share knowledge. Congratulations on your newborn. A rich beautiful life awaits under your wisdom.
Thanks for this man. My mom always scolds me for not speaking spanish, and Im looking at her like “you dont even know how to speak Aztec AT ALL though?” She never speaks about aztec culture. Bothers me a little. Ill be researching alot about the language. Hopefully the frequencies these words make can connect me to my ancestors.
Tlazocamati! 🙏 I watched all of these videos in a day! You were born to teach my friend, and Im so grateful you have. I’ve been meaning to learn classical nahuatl and connect with my roots. If it’s not too much to ask, could make worksheets in your spare time like homework? Or maybe point us in the direction of recourses like that to learn grammer, vocabulary, etc.?
Great videos and resource. Recently I was studying the Mixtec Codices and your channel really helped with pronunciation and familiarizing myself with the language!!! Keep 'em coming!! 😁
Hey my boy Hella love your videos keeping my ass to my roots please keep making them ..... I would love if you made a video of you just walking around pointing at things and just saying what they are .....
I go by Mahtlak-yei Koameh " 13 Serpents ". I spelled " Koatl " in plural form as " Koatin " but, I coming to the mass understanding that " Nahuatl " isn't translated correctly when we are using European words to strictly describe what we discover. Nahuatl words each meant so much more than the over simplified " translations " we are left with
Check out the two books I mention in the video, links are in the description. Nahuatl As Written also includes text excerpts you can practice translating yourself, which is pretty cool.
In Andrews "Introduction to classical nahuatl" he speaks of two different reduplications: one with a long vowel & one with a glottal stop, indicating two different things; as much as I want to believe him, all other sources do not speak of that (though they cant of course be differenciated in classical texts), rather calling the reduplication a process locked to certain nouns. Who is correct here? Can you help?
This might sound like a strange question, but I have been searching for hours and can't find the answer 😂. Can you tell me what the Nahuatl word for "theory" is?
Your uploads are MUCH appreciated ! 🙏🏽
Your videos are a perfect example of what the internet and TH-cam can be at their very best.
I'm so thankful for the opportunity to learn from you!
Thanks for the videos. Can't wait to watch more

This might sound like a strange question, but I have been searching for hours and can't find the answer 😂. Can you tell me what the Nahuatl word for "theory" is?
Can you talk more about the spirituality?
