Fun Day Hike Near Johannesburg - Harties River Hiking Trail

We went for a moderate 8km hike at Harties River Hiking Trail. It is a very beautiful route with views of the Magaliesburg Mountains and the river that eventually flows into the Hartebeespoort Dam. It took us about 40 minutes to get there from the northern side of Johannesburg. We also ate a light lunch afterwards at the Rusty Feather restaurant on the same property.
