DR. Cranky, I was just watching this video for more ideas on lowering cars and trucks, and wanted to share another lowering technique with you. I'm not sure if you have thought about or ever done this, but I was watching a t.v. show a few years ago where they were working on a truck, and wanted to lower the ride height without any extra cost. What they decided to do was to take the rear axle, and move it from under the leaf springs to on top of the leaf springs. It's a very simple change.
What an amazing idea?! The magnets I mean.. That means you can interchange wheels on your models whenever you want too!! Thank you Doctor Cranky. You are such a wealth of knowledge sir. Have a good day, keep the styrene flowing, and Keep Rocking!! :-)
spring cleaning does help with keeping up with tools and such because, we all know how tools and remote controlls like to slip off and hang out together ... !!lol... I wish you would have done the front and back on the same video... Thats some cool information .. Thanks DC....
Hey Buddy, gota change the subject, I'm building a GNX for a friend. It's came molded n black. Question is, should I b primed n black? Great video. It'll come in handy soon. Take care...Bob
Why not just cut the floor out and notch the firewall to channel the body down lower over the chassis, then it would geometrically remain with factory suspension travel and steering, I plan on doing one of these on my long list of WANT TOO'S but it would also be sectioned and chopped like Spence Murrays Rod n Custom DREAM TRUCK!
did you see dave's reply on your last video. You could actually hear his model breaking in his hands again. I had a real blast to see his face at 1:28 , hilarious
Fantastic build DC! I have a question. I have purchased one of those 2 part epoxy kits that come with one shared needle type dispenser. Will that stuff work the same? I cannot TY enough for this clinic. The tires I picked for my build I showed Badazcanadian when he was here in the office. They are so close to yours...spooky again sir.(separated at birth?) LOL You take care and keep up with the decongestants and good old Florida Vitamin C. That's a free Rx from the Doctor!:)
