@@chiefslief1886 It should have been a coupe in first place like the old generations, and as for the Civic Type R they should offer a 3 door hatchback, It would sell like bread among the EK9R and EP3R enthusiasts.
I feel my dc5 would be better with tight corners if it had double wishbone suspension on the front and rear like the previous dc2. Anyone else think that’s needed? And if so by nowadays time, surely there is double wishbone conversation kits
Well first off the motor in that dc2 isn't a B18c5 that's the stamp for the usdm type r. The B18c is the real type r motor which is the motor that is in that dc2 .
motherofmusic 2 Sorry for the sarcastic ass holes replying to your question. They gain a little bit of basic knowledge about cars and suddenly they feel like they treat other people like their dumb for not knowing said information. And no your question is not dumb because they didn't know themselves at one time and more then likely had to ask someone themselves so keep that in mind.
@@mattbot5167 yeah sure your Charger could be fast on straight lines due to massive power output but the question is, would you be able to send your high powered Charger into tight corners without losing grip? Can your Charger keep up with low powered lightweight track weapons on mountain race that consists of 10 - 30 tight turns without losing control? This vid isn't about drag racing bro. The DC2 and EK9 Vtec kicked in soo hard they leaved the circuit 😂👍🏼
lmao
More like poor driving for pro drivers. They brake too late
The drivers used to make fun of Seeker and its super young owner when they appeared on the Touge but he builds some super fast cars that's for sure:)
like the the look of the DC2
Notice how stiff the rear spring rate was on the Dc5? Rock solid..
Understeerah!
Honda, we have the new Civic Type R. Now we want a new Integra Type R
Careful what you wish for, they might just ruin your life
@@pizzaguy58 yep!
And it is Ugly inderdaad.. a sedan with decals like....ugly. I find the met integra ugly. I own the dc2 eudm.

thanks for all these vids man :)
I love dc5!
This is awesome, love the EK9 up front. Debating what I'll be buying next EK9 or DC2? Enjoying my BB6 SiR Type S for the time being.
In a tail-to-nose situation, people tend to be impatient

B series is slower but sounds better 🤷♀️
Dc5 is the best 👍🏻
b series motors really do sound a step above but k series performance is so far ahead
that dc5 was doing just over 110mph.
Absolutely 💯
EK9/DC2 LEGENDS
1 dislike, looks like someone's driving a muscle car...
now its eight, not mine

Its Funnie how I see these vidoes. Ya'll use mostly every type of Civic EXCEPT The EJ body style...Whats up with that?.
Maybe two years to late but..it’s because Japan never got the coupe
EK9 2200lbs/220hp, DC2 2380lbs/225hp, DC5 2600lbs/250hp obviously the EK9 and DC2 drivers are shit.
Why is the civic and integra always in the back in most of this type of race?
Because starting position goes by the fastest lap times.
do you speak japanese and english just wondering?
yes I translated the videos myself
+miroshi cool thanks bro
2020 alguien ???
ek9!!!
cool
why would you shift a b18c5 at 8k or under when racing? you have atleast another 1000rpms to go on that car...
motherofmusic 2 yea why right? i mean their only professional drivers....
