This is why FK 8 is my dream car. It's FWD 4 door with sporty looking and great handling. So you literally can have family and have fun car at the same time.

Something that a MR mcclaren can seemingly replicate in corner with only rear wheel drive. As the level of lines it can take its almost as if it wasnt solely rear driven. Theres a large and fine line to draw from a mcclaren 570 what it took to get it to perform like that and the nsx...plus you have to think about the vapid/affluent/ and typically ignorant ...somehow...."general public" that can afford these kinds of cars....and their actual aptitude for driving

I'd say, if it was the 3.0L inline 6 Supra with the same mods this 2.0L 4 cylinder Supra has, it may take the win. As much as I love my FK8, I'm going to side with what I said. Lol.

The supra was twitchy and power comes on to sudden for stability out of corners. Snap over steer is what killed it. Maybe a little less power and delay of response. The supra to me has never really been a touge car, even the 2nd gens. Great stuff
I agree, that civic looks really well damped from the outside. That supra has too much engine/boost response (the only time that its bad?) under wet conditions. It just breaks the tires loose everytime he touches the throttle, maybe mapping the boost control to be more progressive/linear would be better suited under these conditions.
He put some hybrid turbo in there and it's laggy as hell with that 379bhp he squeezed out of it. That 2L has no torque before boost, the it all kicks in like a mule.
Amazing work with the Seeker FK8, you can tell that car is well prepared, mild handling, good precision and fast response, excellent car. The Supra's setup was extremely radical for this layout, specially on wet conditions. Bad approach from the tuner, a bit too circuit-spec. Thank you very much for the subtitles Best Motoring. ah yes were we the viewer learn yet again there is no best car but simply that theres always a car better suited for the situation...and not a second was wasted. I mean at some point watching these over the years you wind up less interested in the results and more interested on the road conditions/tune and realize the entertainment is how each driver is different and equally applies their own adaptation and adjustments to make better time. Dori-Dori and his bemoaning of the lack of handbrake in the FK8R always makes me laugh, I hope some day Seeker will make a retrofit manual handbrake just so Dori-Dori can finally be at peace with the car.
I wish I could have Seeker tune my car! I am curious on what dampers they are running, their alignment settings and it is fascinating that they use a 295 tire in the front. 295 is the biggest tire I have heard anyone run on a Type R and it clearly works! The Seeker looks so much more willing to rotate than my FK8., I have 275 tires all around and slightly modified suspension.

I think wet surface hindered the supra quite a bit.

SEEKER FK8の完成度に驚きました!オンボードの映像でもギャップで上下動が無くスムーズなので、速く見えないのに速い!トラクションが抜けないから立ち上がりも速いし、常に接地感もあるから安心だと思う。🏁
SUPRAも良いけど、峠なのにサスをガチガチに固めちゃったのが大失敗でしたね。

The front tires fitted on those FK8s are wider than the rears of a C6 Corvette. I guess the front suspension was engineered for it to work.

@@user-ii1md5py5f 自分的にも、スープラの脚やデフ、電子制御的な部分が峠に上手いことマッチング取れたら、正直FFのシビックに利はねーだろなと思ってます。それ故にシビック良く走ったなぁとは思いました。共同開発に関しても賛否両論ありつつ、兎も角も世の中に外車の強固なフレームを持った新たなFR車が出たなって思えば 色んな意味ではプラスなんだと思ってますね。フロントストラット周りの処理とか、日本車だけ見てたらなかなか見られない補強具合だったり おもしれーなと思いますよね

I think having 275 and 255 on read will help with rotation or it might be your camber and toe settings so the is not gripping to allow proper rotation
try reverse stagger and more front camber
