Whooooaaaa!!! That was crazy. I mean, I know there are a lot of Latin complexed rhythms, but this was out. These Brazilian musicians are off the charts. So freaking tight!!!
Hey, get Silva a cerveza!!!! And that bass player . . . tequila for him! Outstanding . . . musicians on steroids. I've never heard a drummer play like that. Power, energy, passion, thunder, bringing it BIG TIME. YES, another big surprise.
I'm Brazilian and didn't know about those guys and I'm realizing how much different styles Brazilian people are making cristian music in so much different genres for example, that guy, Salomão do reggae, raiz worship, oficina g3, and i just love it so much hearing a different styles from the one playing in the churches, I'm a bass player and play im a church but we often change things a little bit and groove a bit so much fun to play differently from usual
Is Cleverson Silva the group, the drummer..? He was incredible!! The song was cool! Like the rhytm and groove very much! I find the singing a bit thin/light when the bass and drums are so heavy, but overall really good! 😃 This will be on my playlist based on your chanel!
This is a remix of a song called "Povo adquirido" by a choir called "Resgate". Cleverson Silva was the one who recorded it, after years of playing it in workshops he decided to reinterpret it with more instrumental emphasis. The singers do not appear as he used the original voice guides. Here's a link to the original song that was already an animal: th-cam.com/video/eDLELaBuh_o/w-d-xo.html
@@welingtonrodrigo5092 Thank you for the information and link 😊 It was interesting to listen to both versions! The original being more ”soft” and funky to me 🙂
Jeff, I don't know if this will push down your stat on viewers 🙂🙂🙂 as is quite technical, and not that much "emotional", It can be a bit too much, but this drummer is so good that he deserved your reaction. Thanks for to your reaction. BTW your Portuguese pronunciation looks very good 🙂. FYI this is a cover of th-cam.com/video/eDLELaBuh_o/w-d-xo.html.
Views on this video doesn’t matter to me! Discovering music like THIS is why I do the channel, Claudio! That and meeting other music fanatics like myself. This came as a totally surprise and was truly a gift. Thank you so much! 🤝👏
It's been YEARS, bro, since I've heard any NEW Latin fusion! And this band is MUI FANTASTIC!!!! I'm excited to look forward to hearing MUCH more from these guys!!!!! Also, I was watching/listening to this band (just before watching this one) Aristocrats. Hadn't heard of them either. But (if you haven't already) PLEASE give these guys a listen and tell us... show us your reaction. th-cam.com/video/l1yQPhGCjPg/w-d-xo.html
@@StrateleStudios Oh, right on. That's what's up! I've always appreciated your takes on the music you review on this channel, Jeff. You have an obvious love for the medium. In case you weren't aware, Yoyoka Soma has been putting out some insane jazz music with the "Ken Okada Group" lately and with one Ai Furusato. She's a Japanese jazz piano prodigy from Tokyo. Don't know if you've ever reacted to her yet, but in any case she was accepted to The Berklee School of Music in Boston this year... at age 12. You read that correctly. She is the youngest inductee into that school in it's history and she and Yoyoka have formed a working friendship and have collaborated often over the last year and a half. Check out the song "Changes" that she and Yoyoka wrote earlier this year. There's a video up on Yoyoka's channel. They have others, but start with that one. You will not be disappointed!
Well, I am a bit late, cause I'm watching 1 year later, but I'd like to show you another song played by Cleverson Silva, Mestrinho and Pipoquinha.A song called "Forró Novo". Forró is a music genre from the northeast of Brazil, quite strong in Pernambuco. Cheers, mate! th-cam.com/video/eDj2XqviYMc/w-d-xo.html
Mind BLOWN!! Wow!! Thanks for sharing this man. Loved every minute of it. That bass player was on fire. Cleverson was just straight up nasty!
Whenever I see a kick ass band like this I always think…”How the hell do I not already know about these guys?!”
Thoroughly enjoyed this! The synchronized hits were sensational. Also they bass player and drummer make a killer rhythm section.
Ya man totally!
JEEEZ Louise!!!
Cubans and Brazilians are absolute percussian and rhythm MONSTERS! Highest level of musicianship and this is sooo... MORE
I so loved this Matt!!!

Thanks for this. Cleverson is a very skilled drummer from our country and he deserves to be as known as possible. Hugs from Brazil.
You guys got it going on in Brazil! This band was phenomenal! I am so completely impressed by them. I can’t wait to hear more!
Loved it! High energy excitement from killer players.
Man, it just wouldn't stop...so awesome!
A fun fact about this recording is that it was one single shot!
Say what?! I didn’t catch that, now I have to go back and watch again!😊
I've watched this video a hundred times...it still blows my mind
