Thanks for being here!
Liefs,

Sarah, what a lovely husband you have, encouraging you to attend more knitting events and buy more yarn! He's definitely a keeper.
What a happy vlog. I never watch your English vlog, but I was knitting away on my 24 birds shawl and your vlog just started as the next one in line. It was lovely to see you in Tilburg last week. Thank you for visiting my booth and buying a skein of Vuur&Bos. Enjoy the knit once you get around to using it.
I love your sweater so much! It looks like you used thinner yarn than I used. My cardigan was very heavy. It doesnt look like any of your granny square garments are heavy.
My girlfriend and I are making the Ariana together. Thank you for the inspiration 🥰
I love your episodes. I'm learning how to knit, which isn't coming as quickly as crocheting did. But with every improvement I make, I'm so unbelievably proud of myself. No more wasting time, now it's time to be brave and be fully happy. Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
I am so glad I found your channel!! I love what you do!!! Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge!!!
It is so funny how simalar persons sometime are 😂 I knit my small scraps, first in my memory blanket, then the small leftovers in stripes, and make blanket to my grandchildrens dolls.
And for me it is heartjumping my quilted blanket my mother sew too me. She cut cloths we used as children, some dresses afther my grandmother used before here death. The blanket is filled with memories. Now that blanket reminds me of my childhood, trips we went on. And when I miss my mom and grandmother I find comfort in this blanket, fille with love and memories.
Noble Character Crafts was talking about her Ariana cardigan on her podcast and she mentioned you and your sweater. I had to come find you and see about your Ariana(s); which are so pretty!! Thank you for giving so many details. The latest one turned out so good!
I love your energy and your dutchy English. You made me laugh out loud when you were talking about making a longer Ariana. You were correct in calling it your butt, but I think I prefer "sitting pillows" better. 😀
papagei is parrot in English - I googled it - with bright red, blue and green - from Michelle. I love watching your podcasts - I love listening to your dutchy English -it makes me giggle from time to time.... I live in New Zealand
Catching feelings in knitting projects- I knit my husband a sweater while I was going through chemo for Leukemia. We spent a lot of time in waiting rooms and while you might think that sweater has sad memories, what I remember are the people who came and sat down next to me to ask about the knitting. I met so many lovely people and hope all of them became healthy too.
I hope you are doing better now. My dad had AML so I totally understand the time spent in the infusion centers. I made my dad a small blanket to use so he didn't get cold. He was always cold. I used Bernat Blanket - Sailors Delight. My dad had been in the Navy before I was born. Loved the color & the name was so fitting. It's so lovely that you can have fond memories and just think about all the friends you made.💕🧶
just chiming in early on, and the phrase you're looking for is 'great-grandmother'! I loved your crochet sweater, it's gorgeous and the colors are lovely on you :)
I think the word "papegai" might translate as "parrot ". The Afrikaanss word "papegaai" means parrot. I think that yarn does look like lovely, bright parrot colours.
I love your channel, Sarah.
Ahhh. Monday night with Sarah. ❤
Hi Sarah. I always enjoy your podcasts. Your mother's grandmother is your "great-grandmother", and her mother is your "great-great-grandmother", and so on. Yes, it's a butt! 😆And the cloth you are talking about in the shower is a "loofa" if it is made of natural loofa usually found in Florida's warmer waters in the US, although there are synthetic ones also. The man-made colorful puffy ones are called shower or bath "puffs" or "scrubbies".
I like the crochet block cardigan by Tanis, also like a lovely one by Amy Christoffers, the Ariana cardigan, which has the squares set diagonally.
Hello Sarah from the Netherlands - this is a Sarah from Suffolk UK. Your podcast is a delight to discover - so much joy in every episode I have watched. I totally agree about not being scared to try different crafts - or even just different techniques, whether they be knitting, crochet or whatever. I love your Ariana sweaters - you look lovely in them!
Your husband is an absolute love ❤️. My husband would have scolded me for what I bought because I have so much yarn already. You are so lucky to have such a great man. I love your podcasts - your energy and your words are just heart- jumping for me. I always feel uplifted after watching you. Thank you!
Dear Sarah, I really love your "heartjumping" Videos and especially I absolutely love your "dutchy English". Thank you for all this inspiration. happy greetings from Germany
Maybe someone has said this already, but maybe your first Ariana sweater could use gussets under the arms? Quick easy fix?
I'm going through the archives and very much enjoying your posts!
I made a colorwork summer top with Sandnes Garn Line last summer and it feels wonderful. However, it does grow when you're wearing it. Next time, I would make a smaller neckline because my tee ends up having a Flashdance vibe at the end of the day. Not sure if you know that movie from the 80s!
I love to hear your thoughts aloud about your knitting processes 🥰 I’ve learned today that papagei is German for parrot 🦜 Your little yarn scraps are in a wooden bowl and you’re correct about your great grandmother 🤩
Sarah, your granny square pullover is gorgeous! I'd love to make one, but in different colors. :D
The Ariana looks great as a sweater! Thank you for talking through all the modifications. I think I will give it a try at some point. The yarn you've chosen is so cozy - I'm a bit envious of people living in the northern hemisphere - it will never be cold enough where I live (Australia) to wear Icelandic yarn.
We use the single crochet term here in America too. I love your sweater. I love the combination of crochet and knitting.
Thank you for ALL the inspiration you spread❤
Hello Sarah! I’m am so glad to tune in to this episode today. I have been wanting to make the Ariana cardigan. I can’t figure out what colours. Seeing your versions have given me some guidance in choosing because I like your colours. Thank you. ❤
You are such a treasure. I love watching your podcasts. You always make me smile and I love your projects x
Love love love your Ariana sweather! 😍🤩I got so inspired I might try to see if I can manage to do one myself.🤗
Papagei ist Deutsch.
In English it is parrot.
The yarn is a german brand. Schoppel Zauberball.
Your sweater looks really good on you. I like Zauberball and have just completed a wrap holding the yarn with a mohair. So glad you enjoyed the yarn event. 🇬🇧
I guess you mean parrot, in Norway we call it papegøye. I love the granny-square sweater, I will look into the Ariana pattern.
Loved ur crochet sweaters TU for a very interesting episode❤❤❤
Oh ik heb het patroon van het Ariana vest gedownload kon het niet laten om de vierkantjes niet te gaan haken. Zo leuk om dit te zien in combinatie met breien 🧶 🥰
Beautiful!❤
Sarah, may I ask about your tiny socks hanging on the shelf behind you. Did you create them from your imagination or is there a pattern somewhere? They are delightful!
Your ariannas are lovely ❤x
Hi Sarah, I love your episodes and your humor! Have you seen this cardigan by Kate Davies Designs called Serkinet? I love this cardigan, and I thought it might be something you would like as well.
Dear Sarah, I love your Ariana and of course your heart jumping podcast. I am from Austria and would like to crochet it too but I don‘t know how many balls of each colour I should order. Could you recommend me a quantity for a size like yours? I would be very happy if you can help me. I follow you already from the beginning and love your happy nature❤
And in Spanish, parrot is papagallo. So many linguistic similarities.
Hey, I forgot to mention that I just finished the Prairie Skies sweater which is made with granny squares on top and knitted sleeves and body. I think you would like it too
Unfortunately there aren' any yarn shows near to me
it is german papaga-i means parrot 😊
It is parrot Sarah. And the language is German. I think this is Schoppel Zauberball
Look at Seaglasssweater, its perfekt for scraps. Then you dont get so much stripes.
❤
❤❤
"sitting pillows"
Adorable though I heard shitting pillows which also works 😂❤
@@angelabates8752 🤣
i thought she said shitting pillows too. It does work. I came to see if anyone else thought they heard that😅
its parrot Sarah.
