    DIY | Snow Machine - How To Make Snow at Home
    In this video i will show you how to make snow machine/snow at home very simple.
    You will need some 3/4 inch or less water pipes, compressor and water flow trough garden hose at least 2 bars.
    The air pressure from the compressor pushes and cools the water droplets which are then further frozen in the air. Outside air temp must be at least -2°C and under 70 percent humidity.
    The lower the air temp, the better the snow machine works.
    If you have any more complicated questions you can write me on my email, you can find my email in my yt channel.
    Thanks for Watching !

    Plumber tip: flip the wrench the other way around and it wont slip as easily and rather just grips harder. The pliers should be pointing towards the direction of force.

    More hang time for the snow so you get a nice flowing curtain. Then do a sleeve test. The more bounce the better quality of snow.

      Late reply, but he used 3/4 inch plumbing pipe to create a T:
      Looks like at 0:26
      (1) 3/4" T
      (2) 3"section of 3/4" pipe,
      (2) 4" or 5" section of 3/4" pipe.
      (2) 3/4" shut off valves.
      1 solid 3/4 endcap(the one he drilled in)
      Plumbers tape or dope,
      Finally you'll need your air and water adapters, looks like he has one in the package called molan? I think that's his air connection, and I guess they probably make a garden hose adapter to fit the 3/4 pipe ends.
      The pipe lengths probably don't matter much as long as you have room to work the valves..
      Hope this helps.

    Can you get air in your water line? Or vice versa

    • @nighteffects6778
      @nighteffects6778  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can make snow but it is hard, there are some factors behind air temperatures, which the main factor is air humidity. If the temperature is 0°c you can make a snow if air humidity is lower than 40%. But this will be very very wet snow. 💪

    • @fordcougar99
      @fordcougar99 ปีที่แล้ว

      Generally speaking it needs to be much colder with a set up like this. regular tap/city water is much warmer than "snowmaking" water. also your compressor air will be warm as well most of this can be mitigated by having your nozzle as high as possible, which gives the water time to freeze as it falls to the ground
