I have the same exact SUV. So let me tell you guys about the limiter first. The original tires that come with Durango V8 2011 & 2012 are rated at 110mph. Which is why, by law, they had to put a limiter on it for that speed. In its new condition back in 2011, up until 2016ish, my Durango was able to do advertised 0-60 of about 7.2 seconds. This was good speed back then, because sedans like Camry and Accord did about the same 0-60 times. I have a short video of the 0-60 on my channel, if you want to see it. Later, I installed a cold air intake on it. Made the sound better, and allowed the old engine to get back to the 7.2 sec 0-60 time. For a 3 row SUV from 13 years go that can pull a 7200lb trailer, it is still a good SUV.
I have a 2011 dodge durango and the limiter was required for fca suvs and trucks in 2012 and up as it wasn't the tires that was limited to that speed as the top speed of the durango with the 5.7 hemi is between 138 to 141 (They added the limiter so the police can catch them in chases),0 to 60 I have done stock was 6.1 seconds and that is with 89 octane as 87 octane slows it down by 0.5 to 0.8 seconds and no brake boosting which can make it not take off as quick which idk why but chevys does this too lol, in terms of top end it is really good especially when your in the kick down gear speed range, overall speed and acceleration is good for even today especially for being 13/14 year old suv
@@Mr11ESSE111It's probably limited cause of import rules but idk sense I don't live in germany but in america it does kick down better and we are able to hit near 140mph
