Mynachlog Fawr Farm & Strata Florida Abbey - A day in the life.

The Strata Florida Trust commissioned Virtual Histories to develop an interactive, time traveling, educational experience that allowed users to travel back to Mynachlog Fawr Farm’s & Strata Florida Abbeys, golden age and to explore a day in the life, of the working 20th Century farm & 13th Century Abbey.
The Farms Golden Age has been inspired by the pages of the book, Life Beneath the Arch by, Charles Arch, who was born and raised at the farm, while the 13th Century Abbey has been developed with the guidance of Professor David Austin & Jemma Sinclair.
The interactive experience has a bird’s eye view of the site and its surrounding landscape.
This project has four unique experiences to explore which are dictated by the four seasons. Visitors can accesses a different story reflecting a snapshot of the day, at that time.
