How To Catch Mullet (For Fun Or Live Bait)

G'day folks
Welcome to our latest video. In this one I go back to basics fishing for Mullet down my local estuary. I run through how I go about catching small fish either as fun for the kids or to use as live bait for bigger species.

I've fished hundreds of those in my childhood just by sticking a piece of bread to the end of a hook and sinking it. You have to compress the bread good so it doesn't come off too easy.

Cool video. Haven't seen the Burley cage feeder in my local tackle shops in Adelaide. Online they appear to be carp feeders in the UK.
Are they available locally in Aus?

Hi mate, from the UK off eBay. They are called coarse fishing swim feeders, they have various weights on them depending on current ect.

Small bread ball, I mean. There are tons of mullet in my local fishing spot, no one is catching them.

Hi mate, you can just throw balls out in the area you are fishing. As long as it's not too far out. Then you can use a running sinker rig.
Also if you wet the bread crumbs more the ball will stay together easier. Hope that helps.
