- Ahoy Fisho's! This I week head out Flicking for Flathead with Dicko from Wilson Fishing. Always a bit of fun fishing lures in the estuary! We manage to find some really nice quality flathead on some cool new gear and some trusted old faithful's. I hope you enjoy the episode, it's always great to back into the estuary's!

*I used to fish with a Crippled Killer growing up in the 50/60’s and **enjoyable.fishing** recommend think this lure gas a smoother propeller action. It is a great surface lure.*

25 flathead in a day is awesome. I live and fish around Yeppoon in Central Qld and in the last 20 years I’ve caught only 3 flathead. All doing pretty much what you’re doing there.

Just went flatty fishing today actually and did alright on the plastics but was surprised because I've never trolled for them and ended up with 3 in their 50- 60s in about 20mins.

i went out fishing today, 4 in the moring, caught nothing and faced 9 foot swell at one point.

Do you have any tips on choosing a colour of soft plastic for flathead?The water I fish in is clear blue water and is about 3 metres.I was looking at the baby bass colour and wakasagi from the baitjunkie 3.2 inch minnow, would that be good?
Yeah I would pick natural colours in clear water mate! Match the bait that swimming around 👌👌
Do you eat them? Are they like a cat fish?
You can eat them and they taste good
