I just now realized that TH-cam deleting the dislike button was one of the stupidest marketing strategy I've ever seen, not only did it do nothing (since you can just have an add on) but it just made people dislike TH-cam as a company even more.
It's amazing how my standards in business practices have dropped, like "at least they didn't film a corpse lol". I can feel my grey matter evaporating.

This video just came out after my cousin, a close childhood friend of mine took their own life and I have to say, there's something about watching you tear into the Dobre brothers and their like about how bad this shit is. Like you said at the end death really can be humorous but like. It does require tact that these asswipes could never come close to having and it's so obvious that they're detached from reality it makes me sick. Good shit as always man. I would never wish suicidal ideation on anyone, but I feel like the world would be a better place if everyone had to experience just a taste of it once or twice in their lives. All you'd need is a couple minutes of that horrible, empty, hopeless, desperate feeling to understand that it is _not_ a joke, and _not_ just a way to get views. It is evil to use it that way.

I wish I could have the shamelessness of some of those TH-camrs. Here I am barely able to write a book because I think it'd be too cringe for people to enjoy and I would become a laughing stock. It's weirdly admirable and I'm kind of envious of their ability to not feel shame.

In short you should just go for it everyone started out small.
So what if you become a laughing stock? You should be writing things you enjoy, not solely so others can enjoy it. You have to think of the reader's perspective, but ultimately, there will be people who enjoy your work no matter what it is.
I think as long as you aren't using your books to harm minorities (JK Rowling) there isn't much to worry about

what's funny is that jaystation allegedly sold his soul to the devil and he asked for all this shit which included being popular and having tons of fans by the time he turned like 21 or something? Within like 24 hours of him turning 21 all his accounts got banned and he essentially lost everything.

Me, my grandma, and my mom's friend Ashley were walking around some store. They did whatever and I went to buy some funky lookin ice cream. Walking out of the story Ashley is running. Me and Memaw don't think shit about it, but then a fuckin literal air raid siren goes off. We head back into the store. I look out and what looks like sparks is flying out of the parking lot. I scream for everyone to get down and hit the deck. A huge explosion nearly take out the wall I'm behind and a fucking world ending tornado starts sucking me up and pulls me out of the store. Then I woke up.
