  • Crusty Italian Bread 🥖 One of my favorite things to make is homemade bread. No preservatives or artificial ingredients, just delicious, crusty bread! RECIPE BELOW!👇🏼
    525 g bread flour
    400 g (about 1 2/3 c) warm water
    2 1/4 (1 packet) ACTIVE DRY yeast
    2 tbsp honey
    2 tsp salt
    1 tbsp semolina, for dusting baking sheet
    2 c water, for sauce pan
    In a stand mixer with dough hook attachment, add warm (about 100 degrees) water and honey. Stir and sprinkle yeast over mixture. Wait five minutes until mixture has foamed to ensure yeast is alive. Add in flour and salt and mix on medium for 5 to 6 minutes. Lightly flour a work surface or counter and pour dough onto counter. Lightly knead and form into a ball. Place in a greased bowl and cover with a towel. Let rise for two hours, until doubled in size. Gently remove dough from bowl and shape into a loaf. Transfer to a semolina dusted baking sheet. Cover with towel and preheat oven to 425°. After about 15 minutes, remove towel. Use a bread lame or sharp knife to make three slits in loaf. On the lowest rack of the oven, place a skillet with water. Place baking sheet in middle rack and back for 40-45 minutes
