Subscribed for more of this content. As a single man who works about 10 hours a day out of the house, is it feasible for me to get into bread making if I can’t be attentive to the starter for the time I’m going to, at, and leaving work?
@@kennethnielsen935 yes absolutely! Temperature will be your best friend. If you keep your starter in the refrigerator you can go 1 week-10 days between feedings. If you make a loaf and let it proof in the refrigerator you have a 3 day window to bake it!

That pastry looks awesome, good tip about laminating before refrigeration. I have found that if I just par cook my apples a little before putting them in the pie, they break down a little more and become soft and yummy. But perhaps that's just the Aussie way. Thanks for a great recipe, I'll try it out at work next week.

Sourdough Sandwich Bread 🍞 RECIPE BELOW!! 😍 Ingredients: 100g active sourdough starter 50 g unsalted, room temperature butter (or same weight of olive oil) 30g honey (or same weight of granulated sugar) 10g salt 500 g all purpose flour 250 g warm (not hot) filtered water *This is an overnight dough. The bulk rise is 12 hours. In a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook attachment, add all ingredients to a bowl. Mix on medium speed for 8-10 minutes until dough is smooth and elastic. Remove dough hook and let dough rest, covered, for 1 hour. Lightly grease a standard sized loaf pan. Remove the dough from the bowl and onto a lightly floured work surface. Gently flatten the surface to release any large air bubbles. Roll the dough into a log tucking the ends underneath. Gently cup the dough and pull it toward you to tighten its shape, so that the seam of the bread is on the bottom. Place the dough into the loaf pan seam side down. Cover with cling wrap and let rise for 10-12 hour, depending on room temperature. The loaf should be doubled in size and slowly spring back when poked. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Proper recipe…
Brush both sides of your fish with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill for 2 minutes on each side, flipping only once. Place your skewers on a serving platter and drizzle gremolata on top. Serve any remaining gremolata and lemon on the side.
Metal skewers or soaked bamboo skewers Heat your grill to medium high, until it reaches 475 degrees. Meanwhile, prepare your gremolata. Add all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until combined. Alternatively, you can you finely chop your parsley and garlic, then whisk in a bowl with lemon zest, salt and olive oil. Set aside. Assemble your skewers by alternating pieces of swordfish and sliced lemon.
1 lb swordfish steak (skin removed and cut into 2 inch wide cubes) 1 lemon, sliced thinly 1 tbsp olive oil, for brushing fish salt and pepper to taste Gremolata: 1 cup Italian parsley leaves, stems removed 1 garlic clove 1/2 tsp salt Zest of 1 lemon 1/4 c olive oil

1 c almond flour 1/4 c gluten free flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/8 tsp salt 3 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp maple syrup 2 tbsp non-dairy milk of choice 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/3 c cacao wafers Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, combine ingredients. Let dough rest for 15-20 minutes to allow to hydrate (if you’re patient enough 🤪) Scoop 4 even sized balls onto baking sheet, lightly press down to flatten. Bake for 12 minutes. Let cool. did you measure your flour using cups or did you actually weigh? generally a US cup of flour is 120g so 2.5 US cups would be 300g but you’ve listed that value as 280g.
