Incredible memories. 30 years ago today. Cup fever had hit Tyneside and this all ticket match had sold out in an hour. I ended up paying £25 for a £3 face value ticket for the Gallowgate end. Newcastle played some great flowing football under Willie MacFaul that season but we were undone on the day by Wimbledon's direct approach and some abysmal defending it has to be said.
