    The only issue I’ve had with the saw is the locking mechanism when the pole is extended. Even as tight as I can hand tight it, the pole slips when sawing. I’m no Arnold Schwarzenegger, but reasonable strong, and can’t get it tight enough!💪

    Btw at 3:02 you say the bolt is barely long enough so the nut doesn’t attach securely... you need to slide the pear shaped saw hole into the *groove* on that bolt head, then the nut will screw on securely. The instructions on the package were pretty dismal.

      I do not like when the 🔩 bolt get stuck on stuff. So what do we do?

    He put the Rope through the handle I am not on the end of the Rope so the handle doesn't fall off and then you can adjust where the handle is on the rope if you're using it at a shorter height then you put the rope through the teeth at whatever length you need the rope.

    I don't know about the one you got but the instructions on mine didn't include how to attachth handle to the rope, it was easy to figure out except putting the rope into the teeth on the handle. The pruner/saw combo works pretty good.

      That's how much I paid for mine at Lowe's, I bought the one that extends to 16 feet.

      @@MagnumMike44 is the 2-foot difference that meaningful? The 14 vs 16 is $30 bucks.
      @Reborn How has this saw been holding up for you?

    The pruner blade keeps slipping into a closed position when I raise it in the air. The chain slips. No idea how to fix it.

      Plastic bags. Just to cover the compression ring? Just a piece?
      Need to figure it out someone just gave me one. Merry Christmas

    Terrible design! If the bolt is not the right size, what kind of idiot is designing and selling these things?

    if it breaks can we replace the head?

    • @origtex
      @origtex  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I saw a head replacement for sale. For the most part, it should not break, but I do see how it is possible. If it got pinched up or in a bind, it could break.

    Is this better than Fiskar brand 16 feet? I just got fiskar 14 but not so happy so I'm thinking of changing it to 16 but I saw recall warning.
