But when I started playing Lacrimosa by Mozart, a whole choir joins me !! 🤯

Imagine eating at a restaurant where someone playing on the piano might be the norm. Then out of nowhere you hear this amazing choir busting out singing Mozart's Lacrimosa so beautifully, like angels. What would be your reaction? I probably would've cried there like I did here.
Why is it that I don't know anything about this song, other than its composer, yet it grabs me...a haunting melody...
What a blessing to have been present for the spontaneous performance.
Guess what, I am sitting in front of my computer and have tears in my eyes...

Mozart's Requim is one of the most haunting and gorgeous pieces of music ever composed. I would have been crying with you had I been at that restaurant when this unforgettable performance took place. I always cry when I listen to Mozart's magnificent Requiem. Thank you so much for sharing this treasure of a video! ❤️😊❤

I've loved the music of Mozart since I was young. At 75, I can say if this ever happened at a restaurant - or anywhere public - I would be overwhelmed. It made tears come to my eyes & the hair stand up on my arms.
As poet John Keats wrote, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever: its loveliness increases; it will never pass."

Diese Musik ist ein absolutes Meisterwerk von Mozart! In diesem Teil seines Requiems (Mozart Requiem) dem Lacrymosa dürfte er, wenn ich es richtig im Kopf habe exakt in Takt 41 gestorben sein… Danach hat sein Schüler das Werk weiter und fertig geschrieben, dieser habe aber wohl selbst gesagt, er könne nicht so gut komponieren, das sein Teil dem gerecht werden kann, was es ist…
Nun ja zum Singen macht es auch verdammt viel Spaß

This is AMAZING!!! I am sitting here wiping tears from my eyes while watching this, if this does not touch in your soul you are truly not human. I have had a great appreciation of music as I have gotten older, I have found that when music touches you at the soul level your emotions cannot be contained. Lacrimosa is a story of Mozart coming to the end of his life, he pours his heart, soul and earthly body into this composition and it truly shows. This piece has always hit me emotionally because it was what was played at the funeral of a dear friend and mentor, he taught me about music and what great music should do. I learned that lesson well, I always listen to music with my eyes closed and draw mental images of what the message is. Thank You to the heavens above for this. I am sure Mozart was looking down in humble appreciation of what you all did here. God Bless You Emilio.

I was very privileged to be able to sing Mozart's Requiem not once but thrice and this took me right back to a very special time learning and then performing this powerhouse of a piece.
