Singing is way more complicated than I originally thought, there's so many slight things you can do to change your tone. The main one ive noticed is how much air you put behind a note, things sound way different based on your exhale speed. And you can sing for longer between breaths or with more power depending on the amount of air used. The most impressive part of opera singing to me is their extensive use of full exhalation but never hearing them breath

The show was great!
But let's be honest, there were a bit too many camera angles right from the start for it to be "impromptu" 😉
@@wawan3961Not really. The guy playing the piano probably got permission to set them up JUST IN CASE anything cool happened. Like this.
Plus he's also probably got buddies filming it all. On top of the crowd filming perspectives.
@@wawan3961 while I've never watched this guy's other vids, it's clear he has a crew that films public reactions to his random performances. I think he just got really lucky this time around.
@@SessmaruKusanagiGamingunrelated but I have a bridge to sell you
@@MidnightSonnet Yes yes and the moon is made of cheese.
Once in a lifetime experience and people running their mouths and smacking cutlery together. Unbelievable talent despite some awful people.
Impressionante! 👏👏👏 De improviso cantar dessa forma e com essa voz imponente, esse é um verdadeiro artista.
For two people of that amount of talent and skill to just happen to be in the same place at the same time is astounding.
Ya it's staged lol
Ffs 😂
@@NiteRacerYou’re probably American… It’s quite common in Paris to have a piano in a supermarket, a metro station, a shop, a restaurant and to watch people sing. We have a piano at St Pancras station in London too… We don’t need to fake anything….
@@Judi.TThat’s not what makes this video scream “staged!” Did you notice the MANY different cameras set up in the restaurant? Filming the singer BEFORE he began?
@@Judi.TThere are thousands of these videos that are planned in advance, including this one. It's not a conspiracy theory.
I’m not even a fan of opera but I wish I could have been there. That was incredibly impressive.
Great pianist and great singer ❤
A música é o idioma onde os seres humanos se unem e se entendem, não importa a língua e a raça, cria-se uma conexão humanamente divina! Paz e bem
A brilliant performance of two talented Musicians. Thank You .
MAGNIFICENT!!!! That's all I can say. Thank you for sharing this!
Their connection at 1:02 IS GORGEOUS
Wow! The power in that gentleman's verbrato is amazing!!!! Beautiful voice!!! You both did an amazing job!!! 🙌💯💗
That’s a person that loves what he does and truly understands the impact music has on people.
Everybody are wonderful
I am from Brazil and love opera. Congratulation guys. Bravo, bravissimo 👏👏👏👏👏
That was amazing. Wish I’d been there to hear his power live. Great watching two musicians adjust to each other on the fly. Very impressive.
Extraordinaria interpretación del pianista y el cantante! Bravo! Bravissimo!❤❤❤
What a lovely impromptu performance! It lifted my soul on a dark and cold October morn. Merci bien!
Multiple camera cuts would imply otherwise
I’m impressed by how long he could hold it for bc I can see that his face was getting red each time he sang words
I LOVED the opera singer's reaction to hearing the song. He was like, dang it, I HAVE TO SING NOW! LOL
Both of these performers use instruments! One uses a piano, the other his voice. Both powerful individually, but INCREDIBLE when flowing together like that! Much respect to them both. It was great how the crowd burst forth with such an intense approval when they were done! ❤ I'm so happy someone got this on video and shared it with the world. 😊
I'm going through all your videos now, from one to another, all are amazing. The joy they bring is unbelievable, gives me hope for happiness amongst humans ❤️ 😊

I looove how musicians can figure out things on the fly together lol it’s soo fun!!
Improvisation was magnificent!!! The way you found to shorten the song, the way he was able to stay with you…just beautiful. Thank you both! ❤
Brings tears to my eyes. Bravo to both of them! 🎉
Is that why he had his hand on his ear/neck so much? Because of these variations in tone?
Breath control is a huge factor for sure. You have to think about every single note and how much breath you’re going to ration for each one.
@@Fyodor2976 i am pretty sure, it helps him to hear better, how he sings and concentrate. Some Beatboxers do that as wel, when they concentrate on something
I am pretty sure, they use an " Overtone Technique " to get their Voice out more easily but still strong, i sang in a Choir for Months, there i first heard of that Technique.
What a wonderful surprise for the crowd. It was beautiful and so much fun to watch. Thanks for posting it❣️🙏🏻
Ouah, bravo à toi et au chanteur qui est venu s'ajouter à ton air. Continue j'adore tes vidéos musicales ❤❤❤👍
Outstanding, I fell in love with Opera and the Symphony when my Mother took me to Music Hall in Cincinnati when I was 5 years old!
Thank you for all of your hard work, years, years, years and years of practice. Your special performances
Marvelous!!!, simply two immensely talented artists collide to each other to bring this magical moment up, one-off and unique instant, totally nourishing for the soul. Opera is eternal, music is everlastingly encarned love and power over the flow of life. Thank you for your wonderful talent.
БЛАГОДАРЮ ПРЕКРАСНЫХ ИСПОЛНИТЕЛЕЙ!!! ПОЛУЧИЛА ГРАНДИОЗНОЕ УДОВОЛЬСТВИЕ!!!
BRAVO TO THE PIANIST AND THE BARITONE! WHAT A MAGNIFICENT IMPROMPTU PERFORMANCE!
This was absolutely breathtaking, and I mean that. I literally held my breath so many times, especially in the quick adjustments you both made and his incredible voice. Bravo!!!!
It isn't impromptu bud though they tried their best to make it look that way.
@@theshushu7940Why such a hater?
@@laurapierce4501 Telling the truth isn't hating it's just, you know, telling the truth. That doesn't mean you can't still enjoy the video. It's fun regardless. Trying to evoke extra emotions through fakery is fine too, it's entertainment after all. And hey, I might even be wrong so there's that.
Astounding flow into ad lib and change with the pianist and singer together! They are both incredibly talented! What a treat.
That Singer was a full blown MAN. So much talent, I admire his courage and ability. ❤
That was POWERFULLY WONDERFUL!! Amazing singer, amazing accompaniment!!!🔥🔥🔥
The patrons of the restaurant are so so lucky to have watched it live…. Bravo to pianist and extremely talented opera singer
Beautiful, not just the skill they both have in their arts or the wonderful music they create, but also the passion they have and the joy they share
Florian Sempey. His voice is something that always gives me goosebumps.
Dude at 1:26 is having the best time of his life just going with it 😂
As a classically trained musician, i love it when this happens ❤.
These videos are wonderful, so much fun, such talent, I enjoy them so much.
idk anything about opera but the whole video made me smile.
WOW what a wonderful music duo to have my breakfast with. Thank you very much for sharing the whole amazing experience with us! 🇦🇺😊❤👏
You saw him, right? And then you played him into existence, for you knew he could not resist. Ha! Well done, sir!
I don't personally like opera but even I recognize that famous part. You guys worked INSANELY WELL together! Truly fantastic artistry 👏🏻 Bravo, gentlemen.
I'm a raptor, doing what I can, goin' to eat everything till the appearance of man. Yo yo see me, I'm living beneath the soil. I'll be back but I'm coming as oil.
Anyone that's ever watched Bugs Bunny cartoons knows that song.
He just couldn’t contain himself! 😂😂😂
Magnifico!!!
Absolutely magic! I'm amazed hiw the singer jumped from one part of the aria with the pianist. Well done both of you ! Magnificent! ❤😊
