Don't know if you're going to watch it, but you'd enjoy the Behind for this vid. I remember crying watching this...I was so proud for JHope and it was his last song before enlistment and everyone was feeling it so hard since he was just the 2nd one to enlist. J Cole has been so gracious to him and I actually never listened to him before this, so I was happy to find another artist who is a good person like all our guys from BTS. Pat, my father was a preacher when we were young, and when we all got to be college aged he sat us down, and said almost exactly what you said at 7:55...Have faith in SOMETHING, and have TOTAL faith in it. Find what you believe in and GO. He was very broad-minded, and I like to think he would have loved J Cole's verse here.
I like what you say. I'm not a spiritual person, but I believe in people in general and this resonates in me a lot. This is one of the songs I pick when I'm feeling down and need to uplift my soul, specially because when I see the MV I remember the behind the scenes and seeing our J-hope so happy, nervous and such in fan-mode with J-cole makes me smile like when I see my children achieving their goals. So proud of him. I can't wait for him and all the members to end their military services and for the 2025 in particular. 💜

This whole thing was like a JCole loveletter. It opens like JCole's Young Simba mv. Also, it shows Jhope coming out of the subway tunnel where Jay Z took his name from. JCole was Jay Z's protégé. It is like a straight line of inspiration Jay Z--->JCole----->Jhope. Then, JHope gave JCole the a big section of the song. It was really just like Jhope's thank you or love letter to JCole for real.

Sadly I remember when it came out and some reactions of people who don't know J-Hope but they knew JCole or at least of him and they kept saying how JCole killed it but J-Hope didn't do much or meh he was ok or just said who's this Chinese guy 🙄 It was frustrating at the time cuz it's J-Hope's song that JCole was a feature on (produced by Pdogg), he gave JCole most of the bars out of deep respect for him. Features in general don't often get bigger parts then the main artist of the song but this is something JHope chose to do and now he has a song with his idol something he probably never dreamed would happen. I'm also glad he had a good experience meeting with JCole, he was very kind.
