As a Republican, I’ve got to say David, You did an amazing job of not cutting him off when I could tell there were situations in which maybe you disagreed; instead, you allowed him to finish his thought, or answer. Just that in of itself is so rare nowadays whenever a different party interviewer, is interviewing the opposing party You should be commended for giving a very fair interview. But the part that I probably liked the most? That this was an amazing example of two people that sure may have some disagreements, but still being able to be adult about it and have a very polite interaction between two different viewpoints at the same time. Great example of what civil discourse should be all about IMHO! Great job by both!

Vivek at the end of this conversation finally had to get down to David's level. He essentially said what you did at the start of the interview was "lazy" and it disenfranchises giant portions of the population, it really gets us no where. I’m not sure how Vivek could’ve been any more clear. One person wants to look at the surface issue. The symptom. Vivek is trying to come up with a way to solve the issue.
When even the people that are “open” for discussion, are so unwilling to listen to the clear thoughts being conveyed. What can you do? His stance on everything is the clearest most concise thought out ideas and solutions I’ve ever heard, but yet he still has to repeat his points multiple times regardless of the interviewer. Everyone looking for the gotcha moment instead of listening to the sentiment and words being spoken. When did people stop taking people at their words? Even when he says he’s fine losing the presidency you still act as if he’s using some slime-ball tactics to gain popularity, so it really doesn’t matter what he says or anyone for that matter because you’ll attribute your own meaning to the clear point being expressed anyways.

Vivek Ramaswamy is absolutely right about smoking out real issues, instead political commentators like David Pakman try to punch down and make others seem silly. Vivek shows maturity when he gives this exact comparison in how he treats Don Lemon and the Breakfast Club Host. I can't help but be impressed by Vivek and the way he carries himself, the way he does not shy away from media exposure that he knows will be quite adversarial in nature.
He is clearly very intelligent, and he argues like a man who is totally confident in his perspective. He wants to revive an American identity and I think that is important.

I'm here after I watched pakman make a damage control video after this interview claiming that vivek filibustered this entire interview. It's laughable because vivek answered every question and used factual evidence to do so. Pakman got schooled and lost on the merits and is now salty because he got exposed like the clown he is. What a great conversation! I lean more to the left, with very progressive ideas. But, hearing what Vivek has to say makes me feel like if we continue with this kind of conversations with knowledge and respect, we can go somewhere, we can come to as society to substantial conclusions.

@@illumina-t-info i hear you, but you need the right kind. change is necessary but not sufficient for progress. i assume you're left leaning, but a lot of conservative ideals would have us make changes to either restore the way things were long ago, or to make the world closer to a vision that matches the various talking points on the right, and you and i would probably not say that's progress. and beyond a left/right dichotomy, even what we could call progressive changes can be misguided, counterproductive, or appear to be good at first glance before leading to unexpected negative consequences down the line. not changing is laziness, but change isn't something to take lightly and has to be carefully considered. conservatism at its best is the embodiment of that value.

Vivek nailed David's debate tactic in the end about smoking out the real issues. Companies violating constitutional rights at the behest of government does violate the constitution.
This issue is so beyond manufactured as a means to serve as a distraction from real issues. Not one public setting in your entire life has permitted you to say and behave however the hell you want. If you attended grade school growing up, you could be suspended and further punished for the things you say. Entering adulthood, if you get hired for a job (literally anywhere), you'll be terminated on the spot if you don't abide by you employers speech guidelines AND state/federal guidelines (particularly around discrimination). Hell, if you walk into a grocery store or clothing store, you'll be removed from the premises if you again, don't abide by the same speech rules. Acting as though the constitution permits you to use a private companies platform to spew whatever hate and trash you want to people around the globe, makes you unbelievably wrong. To then recognize that with social media, all people have a dramatically larger platform for speech than the human race has literally ever witnessed at any point in history before, truly showcases this in the best light that you've been conditioned to get so emotional about this manufactured problem. Lastly, as Elon is proving before our very eyes, it's impossible for a social media company to exist without at least some degree of moderation. Focus on something real!

Twitter, Facebook, and TH-cam colluded to snuff out the Hunter Biden Laptop story, at the behest of the Democrat party. They were aggressively silencing people, and claiming it was part of a Russian misinformation campaign. Which we now know the Laptop story was true all along. If you can't see how a political party calling on Social Media giants to silence dissenters is straight out of the 1984 Commie playbook, possibly influencing how people would've voted had they been made aware of this information then I'm afraid you're not gonna make it.
It undermines any sense of trust in the system, and it gives credence to conspiracy theories (Which really aren't conspiracies) about there being a Deep State of unelected officials who have sway outside of what the constitution intended. Which is why a judge just ruled that social media companies shouldn't be in contact with any political party to that degree. You might not care at the moment because it's not your side getting silenced, but it always comes back around to collect eventually. But in the meantime the regime appreciates that you enthusiastically defend them with strawman arguments about hate speech when no one was even talking about that.

And what I've noticed is the Pakman crowd just consumes these videos to affirm their confirmation bias, and praise their grifter who claims everyone else is grifter, while he himself is quite literally making videos just so he can get as many clicks and views to rake in revenue and get sponsorships. Yet David will call everyone else a grifter, except himself.... interesting. And he also doesn't believe in gender, and the rest of the Pakman crowd believes that their views are "based on logic" yet they believe men can get pregnant, but then they say that men can't have a say in abortion because men don't have a uterus and can't give birth. And they also say gender doesn't exist, but yet they still talk about men and women. They talk about women's rights and equality but they also say men are women and women are men and gender doesn't exist. And these are the same people who believe they are using "logic"... hilarious.
Pakman has been shining a spotlight on the goofy uninformed people on the right-wing, like Mike Lindell, or QAnon, making fun of election deniers and saying the election was 100% legitimate... but Vivek completely exposed this when he interviewed David, and you could tell David was pissed to hear the _actual_ facts, and not random conspiracies from uninformed right-wingers.
The 2020 election was indeed "stolen" and election interference is a very real thing, and is not a conspiracy theory. There are uninformed fools on the right lile Mike Lindell and QAnon who tend to get the most spotlight over this topic, and make this narrative look completely false. But the truth is, it is real, just not in the way those folks are speaking of. The evidence and facts are now present, that the Hunter Biden Laptop story was systematically suppressed through mainstream media, big tech, and social media, with the assistance of the liberal establishment. So was the Burisma scandal, so was the Biden's classified documents scandal, and many more scandals, misconduct, crime and treason, from the Biden crime family were systematically suppressed and censored with the assistance of the liberal establishment, who controls 90% of every information source nowadays. And polling data has came out that demonstrated that a large amount of Biden voters would've never voted for Biden if they were aware and informed of these scandals and crimes. Not to mention the fact that we had voting conducted with No-ID requirements, and requiring ID was considered "racist" by liberals, mail-in ballots, absentee ballots, etc. And Project Veritas released undercover hidden camera footage, going in a voting booth and telling staff they were an illegal immigrant, and didn't have ID, and then upon filling out a ballot, asked if it was possible to vote twice, and the staff said "You can try if you want, but it's probably gonna not be counted"... the facts and evidence to support election interference, voter fraud and lack of voting integrity, are present.
I don't consider myself a conservative or a Trump supporter. But I refuse to live in an echo chamber like the Pakman crowd does.

Vivek Ramaswami is a dangerous right-wing extremist, whose ideas will help hardly anyone except the already well-off, in the country, will set civil rights back several decades, and will hinder the USA's alliances and foreign policy in dangerous ways that will take generations to correct. This said, he is clever and I do have to confess I admire his courageous posture of showing up at obviously hostile shows. His proposals perfectly fit the quote by H. L. Menken: "For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and WRONG!". My forecast, since 2 days after the first debate is that Trump will be set aside by the GOP because of all the legal troubles and the more and more evident degradation of his mental state, and Vivek will rise as the most popular GOP candidate. I wish I could be sure that he will then proceed to lose the elections, but that result is hanging on many unknown results for as many well-known issues on the current American political landscape.
