So many of us have been trapped with narrow minded bosses throughout our career that shouldn't even be in this business. I sure wish I worked for an owner that had as much passion as you to do things right. After 26 years I still love this trade and love what I do, I just learned to block all the negative and focused on myself and my skills to stay employed throughout the years to provide for my family. I’ve been through shit and back. Just through your discounted solid works subscription, I have gained an immense amount of knowledge and experience which had led me to high paying jobs at 28 with a record. I believe in everything you do titans. Just know the next gen mechanical designers are being taught through your platform is an incredible thing you can offer to the community.
Successful people always say dream big and go after it, because their risks and effort and sacrifice paid off. But for every one that made it, theres 100 that werent as lucky, you can still fail without doing anything wrong, and nowadays, if you dont come from wealth, it takes a lifetime to comeback from failure...
It’s true, and it’s inevitable. But when successful people offer their time to mentor and help people who are struggling, that percentage goes down. And as the attitude of this industry shifts towards being more open with information, the likelihood of people finding success through mentorship goes up.
It’s our duty to do everything we can to be a rising tide for our communities. And I hope more people in this trade start to realize that.
@@animus3d663 Couldnt agree more, and just to clarify I wasnt throwing shade at TOCNC, just trying to bring a little reality to the content. Theres nothing wrong with reaching for the stars, but everyone should understand that it could cost you the rest of your life to do so. Even worse, your friends and families lives. When a lot of people seek investment, they get told to sell their friends and families first, get them to invest before institutional investors, which is a wildly terrible idea.
best thing is to use your CNC machine shop to develop and produce products that the market wants. That's where the real margins are.

I use to tell my guy’s at work everyday that their day is only going to be good as how good their attitudes are going to be. So they would half to make a decision to make every day about their future’s outcome. And it help a-lot with some of the guys that were struggling with personal issues every morning clocking in.

At 39 and being in production for 20 years, I feel I’ve not even scratched the surface of Cnc machining.
I’m an operator in a place that pays great but doesn’t allow progress.
Im wanting to progress in setting and especially programming but feel I maybe running out of time

one major problem with the cnc world is the global economy and countries like chyna can easily put anyone out of business because of their cut throat prices, companies will stop using you for a penny savings.
