- Hi Everyone! This video is about the installation method of Samsung Galaxy NOTE 8 ROM on Samsung Galaxy NOTE 5. This video will convert your Galaxy NOTE 5 into Galaxy Note 8 software vise.
Supported Models: International [F/FD/C/CD/I/G/08] Korean [S/L/K] US [TW8]
The good thing about this ROM is its stability while downside is that you would lose some hardware functionalities. On my Note5 the camera had frequent crashes. Please do leave feedback after testing this ROM yourself; so that others can get benefit of it.

In this custom rom, I would recommend a Google camera that works better than the camera installed in custom to, which is the Google GCam Exyons camera for the Samsung Note 8.

Hello I already downloaded android 10 rom this morning the bluetooth devices İ have didn't work on it. Do I have do anything else to install this rom? Like erasing the old rom?

Hi Jonathan, I think it's too late to expect this from developers. Maybe they port it for P as well but I think If they wanted; they would have done it in the first place.

Hi, its a couple of years later now. Did you ever find a Rom for Sprint (n920p) or maybe you installed a rom designed for the other phones on the Sprint phone ? Thanks.
I know that these Sprint phones don't make calls anymore but I use it as a tablet and my banking app needs Andoid 8.0 or higher.

Hi Minh, First of all don't panic.
Did you select the right model in the installation process?
1. if you don't have important data saved on your phone then boot into TWRP recovery again and do a Factory reset - then try booting up your phone.
2. if your phone is still stuck at black screen (BOOTLOOP) then you need to roll back to official firmware. it's easy to roll back to original software.
to do so you can either search on TH-cam "official firmware on Galaxy note5" or visit my channel to see video with this title.
This will solve the problem. hope that helps. :)

Hi there, it's very easy to rollback to the official firmware. You can install original version of software on your note5 by following one of my guide "official firmware on any galaxy device" or just search on youtube "install official firmware on galaxy note 5".

What version of Google cam is working here brother?
I tried those versions which were ported for Galaxy Note and S lineup of Samsung and it worked fine.
You can also use the Samsung camera app but it won't be stable.
Method to use Samsung camera App:
Back: Turn Off Adaptive Brightness Mode. Open App and click pics.
Front: On the home screen keep pressing camera icon and then choose selfie.
Video: Go into pro mode. Mode 1. And press record

Download the GCam file from the link under one of my videos about GCam for Galaxy Note5. And then instally it manually - so simple.

You will need to turn off the ADAPTIVE BROGHTNESS before using the camera app.

If everything goes well then you won't lose your data. But, if your phone after update got stuck on boot screen then you would need to do a factory reset which is gonna erase your personal data as well.. so, it's recommended to do a backup of your important files. Thanks kledi

Not fixed yet. Only works when auto birghtness mode is turned Off.
@@KHANISTEK so in other words, the stock cam will work fine if you just turn the adaptive brightness off or are you referring to the gcam?

Hi Ravi, alot of people like you and me had the same issue, the developer of the ROM had mentioned the bug along with the ROM file which might be indication that we aren't receiving any fixes for this issue.
