Compared to UPS - drivers have a key fob - that bulkhead door must remain closed - the vehicle bulkhead door is locked and engine is turned off every time the driver departs the vehicle.
Ya, we dont have those rules. Some of the bulk head doors on the trucks are actually welded open because they wont stay open or close on their own anymore.
Pro tip* when you start emptying out your truck slide the boxes forward less time to walk all the way to the back grab then go vs take three steps grab and go. Used to work at a a hub as a swing driver at FXG now I’m a road driver for FXF
Sometimes I do that depending on the boxes and the day. My usual truck is so short it’s pointless so I’m not in the habit of doing it when I’m in one of the longer ones 😂 solid tip though for sure
Only 165 during peak? I was averaging 250-260 stops all of December. One shift I hit 300. Get about 30-40 chewy daily. Use to them now lol. That being said I have a nice route.
