And some other routes (a couple of the ones in my contract, in fact) definitely cannot go this fast. However, I have found that no matter whay route I am running (and I have run routes for other contractors as well to fill in for their drivers) this i...

Let me give you an example: my work starts at 9am. Is it possible to come earlier, perhaps 30 minutes before, to put my parcels away in my cargo?
@@ZanAndreKoueli depends on if they let you come in early? We done have a specific start time. I can show up basically whenever as long as I finish before any time sensitive items lapse. Typically they’re done sorting everything onto the trucks by 8 so I get here between 7 and 7:30 to start sorting my truck

missed your videos chris, we've been slammed at my hub as well from the storms, did 515 packages today as a business/apartment route, was pretty rough. glad to see your back though!
Use that dolly Driver!!🫣
@@braxtonstevens795 the dolly creates more problems for me than it solves typically
@ fair enough 😂
I wouldn’t work at ground if I had 150 stops. We average 50 and get $160 a day
What state you’re in? Asking for a friend 😂
Damn
Package handlers should be required to load the trucks correctly by number. All the packages the delivery drivers already have to do enough why do they even load the trucks if its not in order its pointless.
No. Package handlers should be required to ride along for 2 days before being allowed to load a truck.
I know what you mean man . Being a Truck 🚛 driver & got to deliver my load can be very very wear you out man . But i enjoy watching you do your delivery man especially when you was wearing your 5 finger shoes . Great to hear buddy!
Im making 18/hr 😅
I have a friend who works at UPS and they are still doing 12 hour days currently and he goes out with 325ish stops a day and never finishes.

How about teaching Fed Ex drivers to be responsible and deliver on time and in the right place. And not having days going on to weeks of exceptions for entire communities.

Yup. Stairs, Apartment, Furniture Chewy. Morning put your hand on every package. Been out of commission since April 2024. Blew out two ligaments in my ankle leaving the truck with a 90lb box of Chewy. It's been a long road to recovery. 180 days post surgery. I'll get back one day to delivering 200-270 stops with 300-340 packages. My area consist of good areas, bad areas alot of apartments. Loads of codes and keyfobs and techniques to get in the buildings 😉👍
Tight route
they got ya 4s with your 1s or vice versa
You are my everyday video before I go to work and get started.

I don't understand how this job pays ?? Most jobs I've ever worked had an hourly amount or a set salary. This one seems like at Fed-x it varies ??
@@plutoplatters it kinda does, but it’s relatively stable. I get paid per stop. And I have more or less the same amount of stops every single day.
No seat belt….. shameful
@@freddyfreddy42 😂😭🤣 yall kill me
Bahaha 🤣
You guys have people load the packages beforehand? Thats cool. I was so lucky when i did fedex. My contractor worked in the rural areas and i had like 80 stops a day on average.
Merry Christmas! We worked Christmas Eve in Springfield Il terminal. It was light. I was able to get in real early. Hooefully with New Year’s Eve we will be done early too. Yes I believe peak is finished. I noticed last week. But my Saturday route today had a lot of furniture stuff. Pluss Christmas trees. A lady order 6 of the small ones. And other people did. So beware of lots of furniture stuff. After Christmas sales cause you might peak up abit.
Hey homie what camera and equipment do you use?

@ how do you like that compared to a GoPro?
@ the big difference for me is the screen. On the Insta360 ace pro the screen is big, touch sensitive, and flips forward to face you. So that is all awesome, but then it’s also very user-friendly in general.
Pour the pee out in the street problem solved.. 👀😂
Would you recommend this for a first driving job? I'm very active and love to drive!

3:45 never left a piss jug in the truck since I know where all the bathrooms are on my route and if nothing else, pick a bush, any bush. Still dropped a like. Ok I’m done lol happy peak.
Bruh I leave all apartment shit in the lobby, you’re doing the most no offense. Also I hate when customers want you to do all kinds of extra shit. They want their asses kissed lol
@@Tinman710 ya, we get in trouble for leaving stuff in the lobby unless there’s a drop box of some kind. If you can get to the front door, we have to haha
I respect your electric longboard however you should look into e-bikes…I have 3 lol I also have 2 acoustic longboards and they definitely have their place! Glad peak is over, got the next 3 days off! Btw I ordered one of those camo hoodies from Roxy.
@@Tinman710 the hoody is extra comfy. Ya, I’m not big on bikes. I have an ebike and I’m not confident enough in FedEx security to lock it to the bike racks 😂 the board can go on the truck with me. Ya, I had 150 easy ones today. I have to drive tomorrow but likely under 100 stops according to my manager. We’ll see how it goes
@@Deliverypros yeah the portability of longboards and scooters is ummatched
How are the apartment stops with Ground? Amazon is horrible. I finished a route today with 86 apartment stops, all, literally all of them having multiple floors and doors considered as one stop. It's terrible. They've been doing it for years, which is why I'm leaving.
@@tkelly830 it’s similar for us. There’s one apartment complex I had that separates everything, there’s one that separates none of them, and there’s one that is a mix haha it’ll have 4 stops, each one with two packages, and those two packages aren’t actually going to the same apartment. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 😊
cheers, Merry Christmas to you!✨
The sorting helps tremendously I do it everyday. Good advice!
I'm a part time Fedex express driver(Canada), while I reversed I scratched bumper of parked car while trying to make my out of the apartment complex. There was a car in the turnabout, the guy refused to allow me to use that. My only way out was reversing towards left in tight space towards the parking lot. I'm still under probation. I really wish that guy in the turnabout allowed me to turn around my truck. I wouldn't be in this situation, will I get terminated?
We are finally slowing down. We had four trailer full out in parking lot we couldn’t get. But they said we smoked through it last week. Many drivers have quit and loaders during this peak. Some of them have run Sundays to catch up. Hooefully Monday and Christmas Eve are lighter for you too. And everybody
Yep I survived my first peak season as a driver and I was out in the country part of Montgomery county. Well what happens the day after Christmas.
My contractor is failing so my route got taken away even tho I’ve been at 100 percent!
@@travisdean86 ooof
This the second time I’ve worked for a failing contractor. Idk what to do now…
@ third times the charm?
How I get 30 stops done per hr..... I drive around with all my doors open and no seatbelt......... oh, and dont mention all the packages that fall out of the truck because my doors are open. I will sheet them as "sorry we missed you".
And leaves the engine running so that package thieves can have a Christmas
UPS drivers can do 50 stops and hr but also shut their doors, wear their seat belt and park on the right side of the road.
@@pbear216 four and a half years driving, no packages have ever fallen out, never been away from my truck for longer than 30 seconds to make a delivery (cause I’m not fat and slow). Truck has an anti theft device, some doors are welded open, and we don’t have the same rules as UPS. I face, different fedex drivers have different rules from one contractor to another. Oh, and I actually get to see my family during the holidays 😂 anything else?
It's been crazy. A lot food gift boxes now.
Ahh the trade off. Load your own truck and do 30 stops/hr or have loaders load your truck and take forever to find a package. I think it probably averages out in the end when you factor in the time it takes to load your own truck.
@@collegeguy799 oh, I don’t load it. I just organize it. And now I do 40-50 stops an hour haha when I didn’t organize I was doing 25. If I have 200 stops, what I’m doing saves me 3 or 4 hours 😂 I had 260 stops the other day. I did them in 4.5 hours. If I didn’t spend an hour organizing it would easily take me 4 extra hours delivering.
Have u ever delivered lovesac, that shit sucks
@@joshyingling6793 sactionals are the worst…
I had one 2 weeks ago 12 boxes one day 5 more next day
I stopped sorting man... I've recently been coming in at around 8:30 AM cus I used to help the package handler out when I'd come at about 7 AM but... they don't listen so, i'd rather my managers ask me if i need help throughout the day than to do their job when they make like $17.35 an hour.. i could care less how tough it is on them.. i finished at about 5:00 PM exactly today with about 245 packages, 189 stops. So not bad considering the package handlers absolutely suck ass at keeping the packages tight to prevent them from falling all over the place. One of my managers offered help and took my 7000s on up. I'm not going above and beyond anymore.. Used to wake up at 6:00 AM... Screw that, i'd rather struggle throughout the day than come in earlier, cus now I have a manager that expects me to load my truck helping out the package handler. xD So yeah.. Mosty likely going to start showing up at 9am cus they don't finish until like 9:30... and I promise I'm not going to lay a finger on any of those packages until I make it to my first stop....
Been sorting as best as I can which only gets me so far with this dense city route but nonetheless I’ve been flying through my stops. Thanks for the inspiration.

Same i normally only have 10 a day but i had almost 3/4 of my load was ICs today
My route is in San Bruno, CA. By TH-cam headquarters. Nice area, but many apartments.
I'm starting Ground next week, leaving Amazon. Have been delivering there for almost 7 years but its rome to go dor a multitude of reasons. Whats yor process when you get back to station? Do you generally just park and leave the keys, go home? At Amazon we have to check in with dispatch desk and Amazon sesk id we have packages. A bit time consuming after a long day. Lastly, does your truck have heat/AC? Enjoying yuur channel, learned aome good info on it.
@@tkelly830 only heat, no AC. When you get back, you put your odometer in your ipad which ends that, then you do the same for your scanner and log out of that then you can leave. It’s a simple thing that takes maybe 3 minutes
@Deliverypros Sweet thanks man. Have been enjoying your vids and learning a lot. Luckily the trucks we have include AC. The summers in the Carolinas are terrible. Wouldn't have made the switch if they didn't lol.
