That is the power of this Sufi like music.
A song that is similar yet very different is Khwaja Mere Khwaja from Jodhaa Akbar. It is different in topic, but has the similar tone of "in a trance" and that's because it is also Sufi based.

Like 'shamaa ko pighalne ka armaan kyu hae, patange ko jalne ka armaan kyu hae'. They don't have those words that can convey the real meaning. Its impossible. But tose naina song was just so full of feelings nd love, it just hit you in the heart.
