Coach K was being coy when Graham asked him about Lebron. K knows and remembers exactly the moment Lebron turned his back on him. You don't forget something like that. He's taking the high road.
I wouldn’t completely place this solely on Lebron. He came from a fatherless home and was birthed by a 15 yr old girl, that later had drug addiction issues. He was raised in the ghetto around around boys of which the majority of them had no fathers. Then he was a basketball phenom at a very young age and everyone in his neighborhood knows it and every coach wants him. He’s signs a 90 million dollar shoe contract before he ever plays an NBA game. That’s a lot to handle. However, he’s never got on drugs and he’s never gotten in trouble with the law. He married his high school sweetheart and they’re still together raising a family. The family he never saw and he’s the father he never saw and he married the wife he never saw. No one is perfect. We all have lessons to learn. We all have our cross to carry. People come into your life for a reason and most times, just a season. It was a blessing that Coach K came into his life. It was also a blessing for Coach K that a Lebron came into his life. Coach K showed growth as a coach and as a man. He also showed humility and understanding. Something he probably struggled with at one time. All of us should be learning every day, the teacher and the student, equally and we’re all both, just at different times.
@@TheSelfHelpTube if he grew up in that era it would be different but to go from this style to 90’s hand checking and hard fouls. They play very little defense compared to then. You could nearly have your career ended just from driving to the rim in Detroit.

I kinda disagree with Lebron’s contribution to the team’s standards by saying ‘No Excuses’. Should be HONOR the sanctity of excuses. Having to deal with a family loss is a valid excuse to not having much mind in the game. Or having just learned that someone dear is diagnosed with something bad. Coming to practice late because of the groupie you slept with the night before is dishonoring excuse. Honor excuse.

This is gold! 😂😂
Lmfao LeBron of all people asked for "No excuses"
I think it's true for every profession every trade, the top 1% performers are outstanding in both hard and soft skills, can't be just one or the other.
LeBrain is not a role model to me. I quit watching the nba because of his selfish, self-centered, narcissistic, politicized whiner. It is too bad that he has destroyed the good image of the nba chasing titles and records talking about the goat concept. Having nba players in the Olympics is a joke. Stop it already.
Look me in the eyes, Lebron! *Coach K voice*
But in the thumbnail Lebron ain't looking him in the eyes.
Yeah that’s the point of this video...
Well said
He really said, "look at me, I'm the captain now."
Coach K was being coy when Graham asked him about Lebron. K knows and remembers exactly the moment Lebron turned his back on him. You don't forget something like that. He's taking the high road.
They’re actually close friends but go off!
As a Tar Heel fan, Coach K can go to hell lol. As a basketball enthusiast, lots of respect for this man.
Profanityiscool as a Duke fan, Roy Williams can go to hell. As a basketball enthusiast, Roy Williams can go to hell.
Michael Holton 😂😂🤣🤣
Michael Holton lmao
@@michaelholton700 savage. Hahaha
Ur funny dad
Lebron is so soft. As physically gifted as he is, I think he still gets chewed up by early 90’s Pistons and Knicks.
Bird would have destroyed him psychologically
@@thefrase7884 as lebron dunks on bird every time down the court
Lebron would be a different person growing up in the 70's. But to think he couldn't handle the physical play is delusional.
@@TheSelfHelpTube if he grew up in that era it would be different but to go from this style to 90’s hand checking and hard fouls. They play very little defense compared to then. You could nearly have your career ended just from driving to the rim in Detroit.
@@TheSelfHelpTube y’all forget that he played football
Kobe in the background 💔 rip
Best interviewer of all time.
Look me in the eyes!...
I love you
LBJ...legend in his own mind.
He gave himself the goat title. Also he came up with his nickname king James. Yea he isn’t about himself all the time. Lol
@@ivermectin1974 BTW lebron means king in some African language i forgot which country it was. He's name is literally king james
If you don’t think Lebron is a legend I don’t know what to tell you lmao
@@ijustyapyeah it’s legendary to lose 6 finals
Class coach
Well said.... as expected
This shows up in my feed as the KD led, current USA team, just lost to France.
I just saw the Coach K interview about his experience on the original Dream Team & coaching Michael Jordan. What a stark difference between MJ & LeBron, between older generation & the current generation.
Jordan was a grown man with more life experience what do you expect ?
@@damianpresha9833 It’s also bc the culture has changed dramatically.
@@miamivlad How old are you nothing changed except technology back then ? Elaborate
@@damianpresha9833 Bingo. Technology changed EVERYTHING.
@@damianpresha9833 42 btw
I totally agree with coach k..
Remember that you're representing something bigger than you...
Lebron never got that memo.
I'm not fazed,
I hang around big stars all day,
I don't see what the big deal is anyway,
You're just plain ol' Lebron to me
John Smith
Most people missed that one.
This is an excellent interviewer.
Coach K = Living Legend
Lebron is who Every NBA coach wants . Facts
+brassmonkeyjew so u wouldn't what a guy who can score pass rebound and play d ok.
Coach Blatt disagree
He got every coach he was with fired. Wtf r u talking about , even in Miami when he shoulder bumped the coach. He's a diva and a flopper.
any coach would love a player who can coach on the floor
brassmonkeyjew have u ever played basketball in you're life?
very good interview but please change the tumbnail of the channel dude. This avoid a lot of subscriber i think. Put some letter of show name or something.
4:10 who is that on the left?
The title of the video is not accurate.
LeBron doesn’t share MJ’s class. MeBron destroyed the NBA.
Simpleton
60 is a stretch but for this man to be 70 is insane
Take care of yourself. And you will look the same at his age
Coack K = Legend
Yep a legend for looking other way for day tripper and a thousand other things.
Indeed bro
Bron didn’t have dad in Home and raised by his mom
Thought it said Mike Korzemba
Graham always seems nervous when asking questions
I kinda disagree with Lebron’s contribution to the team’s standards by saying ‘No Excuses’. Should be HONOR the sanctity of excuses. Having to deal with a family loss is a valid excuse to not having much mind in the game. Or having just learned that someone dear is diagnosed with something bad. Coming to practice late because of the groupie you slept with the night before is dishonoring excuse. Honor excuse.
Y’all took the whole meaning of what coach said and flipped it lol
Well done graham
Coach K sugarcoated the arrogance, we all know that
Legend .
