Had a a question asking about changing the Home Point on the RC2 by dragging your finger across the screen - would be great to hear how you guys do it?

Like your videos, they're very good. A note to remember when your dragging on the screen your dragging the map under the home point, the home point icon on the screen stays in the middle of the screen all of the time. So there is no need to put your finger on the home point icon as you're not moving that you're moving the map under it ;)

When you dragged the homepoint, it did it right!
The drone went to the point where you set the home point. The new home point was set away from you.
This can be very handy, if you know where you're going and set the new home point ahead.

Good video Shaun, but those powerlines were scary when it was following you at the end! 😱
Unfortunately, I had too many crashes doing my obstacle avoidance & RTH tests, and the OA sensors were screwed up on my Mini 4 Pro. I called DJI and did a firmware update, but it didn't seem to help. Then I did a very short Active Track from my back deck to just around the corner of my house, but just as the drone started to follow me around the corner, it suddenly slammed into the wall and crashed onto the concrete walkway, destroying the gimbal and cracking the case. I decided to use one of my DJI Care Expresses to replace the drone instead of sending it in for repair. The new one will arrive today. The wife said to be more careful with my new one. But it was fun while it lasted.

Thank you Gary and good to hear you've a new one on the way. You've had some great fun with your drone and I'm sure the new one, even better. Yes the power cables was a little bit too close! Many thanks for watching.

Moving the home point was and still is a great feature on the Mavic Pro.

Keep it simple seems to work.
Got a question: Is there a way to drop a map pin on locations not to fly? Mini 4 Pro RC2.
I've got a couple neighborhood cell towers looming 100-200 feet tall. It would be great to drop a red pin on my map to remind me that the towers are there. I'd like to improve maps by having a red pin visual reminding me of where the towers are located. One of the towers is used by the local police and emergency services. I'm certain they'd appreciate not have a drone accidentally fly into the comm tower.
As always, enjoy your helpful videos. Thanks

Good question and one I've added to my list. Never really understood the pin drop and does it stay there on the map when finished your mission. Watch this space and many thanks for watching.

It was me that asked the question. The only reason I thought it might be handy if it was accurate was if you had a load of muppets around you in some sort of confrontation and you didn’t want to land it near you incase they grab the drone and smash it up. Dragging it to a safe landing spot like a relatives back garden that’s nearby would be great cause you could just send it off to the safe place and get out of there. I suppose the best way is to just leave the immediate area and fly your drone away at the same time. It would be nice if DJI gave us an option that you could set default home points for emergency use.

Many thanks for your question and sorry about the delay. I did try and failed so many times. On the DJI RC it was so much better but the new RC2 has had a few problems and one I think is the screen is so sensitive and understand about flying to a safe place when people suddenly turn up. Hopefully DJI will sort this issue in a future update. I will try again later in the year to see if there has been any changes. Many thanks for watching.

It's in default and also you can't get satellite which would be so much better. That's why I think just use 'Controller'. Many thanks for watching.
