@jamesmcsorley83 Hi James, you're right, just the owner and person responsible. If children are flying it be with them. No flyer ID needed but I strongly recommend doing it.
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency thanks for clearing that up, so it's my 8 year olds drone (dji mini 2 se), when he is being supervised, the adult needs an operator ID - so both me and my wife need a separate one as I won't always be there as I work away from home
@jamesmcsorley83 I wasn't 100% sure and called DAMRES and they weren't sure but suggested it was up to me if an adult needed to be with them. I said, but if they're approached by police how do they stand legally. She wasn't sure and checked and came back to say they need a flyer ID which I said was incorrect. So she advised me to email. What is going on!!!! This is ridiculous. But here you go and let me know how you get on - Drone and Model Aircraft Registration Team drone.registration@caa.co.uk Telephone: 0330 022 9930
Oh my! I'm not sure, I'll check. Only just started using N2 for the Neo. I personally don't use zoom because it's totally pants. It's a digital zoom so you loose resolution and you might just as well do it in post production and then you can see if you've over done it and made it pixilated.
The Flyer ID was super easy to get and was actually worth doing anyway I quickly learned a few things that I wouldn't have known if I didn't take the test
Hands up, I wrongly said get flyer ID. But I can't understand why everyone shouldn't have to do it. As you sat it's not difficult but you kind of need to know all this stuff. You're going to absolutely love the mini 4. Where are you flying?
Sir, I salute you a question : I own a mavic 2 pro It is very good in terms of quality and accuracy If I buy mini4 pro I find it has the same performance, quality, resolution and image sharpness as the Mavic 2 Pro?? Honest answer my friend please Commentaires Résultat Web avec des liens sitelink
Hi buddy, I would say you're probably right. Both are good quality. Mini 4 probably is better for video slowmo, dlogm and newer tech giving amazing tracking and avoidance and waypoints. Its as good as my Air3 but Air3 is better in strong wind and the 70mm lens. I love it and a joy to fly and blows the mini3 out the water.
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency Thank you for replying. What i mean is this. in this video you showed us two controllers which are DJI RC2 & N2. You made the video with the RC2 I think, which is the one that has a screen. i was asking for the other one which you attachyour phone to, the one you showed us in this video. I think they will be slight difference in control like how to rotate gimbal etc.
@omaksvlog330 ah, OK, actually the app for the N2 is the same as the RC2. The controller is different in that the N2 has an FN button and one wheel and the right button is photo and video. Not been out and flown with it yet so haven't tested it out fully.
Hi Tim I've just got a new mini pro 4..I haven't yet turned it on because I read that once activated or registered I have 48hrs to decide if I want the damage cover adding? Is this correct or can I choose to add their cover whenever I want?
Yes I know this, I do t know what the difference is because you can easily purchase the care cover on their site. Take a quick look to check DJI site. I'm sure it's marketing sales hype.
You only need insurance for paid work, commercial work or exchange. General rule is the same for Europe but local laws should be checked. Hope that helps.
Yes you'll need flyer ID. Also you'll be in A2 rules not A1 of the Open Category. No over flight of uninvolved people 150m from built up areas unless you take your A2cofc exam then you can fly closer to people but no over flight of people etc.
All you need is an 'Operators ID'. I have a separate video on just that. Check it out. Then create an account with DJI on their website. Do that first then turn on the RC and add the DJI account details. Is that helpful?
Hi, if it's from the drone, take out the SD card and put it in the computer as per this video th-cam.com/video/lKk9WWLGcBc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YYp0joiKRdEL9MqW if its from the RC 2 see this video th-cam.com/video/HM_hS1AM9X4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FjXDl-KMNsvHFARW
@Hat_Uncle thanks for that Info. Not sure why but my Imac won't display the drone or RC, which I'mstill tryingtoinvestigate, hence using the card. Its good there's different ways to suit your workflow.
What’s the point of this drone if you still have to register it and take classes? This drone is 249g so it requires 0 registration with your state or with the FAA… Thea e videos just confuse new drone flyers.. this drone is literally made for new drone flyers so you don’t have to deal with all the government and state shit. Atleast in the USA
UPDATE: YOU DON'T REQUIRE A FLYER ID AND DO TRAINING FOR THIS DRONE. YOU ONLY NEED AN OPERATOR ID.
Does everyone flying the drone need an operator ID, or just the one person who bought and maintains it?

Hello I watched your video and I like it,
question:
I know you can zoom in with DJI RC, how you can zoom in on DJI RC-N2 ?
Oh my! I'm not sure, I'll check. Only just started using N2 for the Neo. I personally don't use zoom because it's totally pants. It's a digital zoom so you loose resolution and you might just as well do it in post production and then you can see if you've over done it and made it pixilated.
Great video for beginners. Thank you, very helpful for us UK viewers.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video, very thorough and personably presented. Thanks!

I'll test it out somewhere in the UK but really needing to get good at flying it before February when I'm taking it to the Philippines for 1 month..
@jasonmarkwhite655 exciting. I'll do a video on early days practice techniques.
Great video! Now I'm ready to start exploring !
Go for it and fly safe 🫡

Can you do this same tutorial with the other DJI N2 controller?
Hello mate, this is the N2 controller. Do you mean the previous controller for the mini 3?

Good stuff
I've heard that you also need insurance to have a drone, if you take it out of the country is this try true, I haven't found anything about it.
You only need insurance for paid work, commercial work or exchange. General rule is the same for Europe but local laws should be checked. Hope that helps.
Excellent video! Thank you 👍👍
Thank you too!
Why do you need an account?
You need it to get the firmware updates and i think to activate it. Same with all DJI products.
Its under 250g. You dont need to register a flyer ID with the CAA. Only an operator ID
Yes, you're right. The RC2 is also for the Air 3 which of course you do need both.
Jól érthető bemutató !✅👍
Thanks buddy
Does the RC N2 show the pathway back home ?
You just get the green glowing funnel looking thing. That's my technical talk!
If you use the extended battery plus then your drone is above 250 grams and requires registration

Finding registering a right nightmare.

How do we get the footage to the computer?
Hi, if it's from the drone, take out the SD card and put it in the computer as per this video th-cam.com/video/lKk9WWLGcBc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YYp0joiKRdEL9MqW if its from the RC 2 see this video th-cam.com/video/HM_hS1AM9X4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FjXDl-KMNsvHFARW
You can also just hook unpowered drone to a USB 3 port and it'll show up as a drive, drag and drop
@Hat_Uncle thanks for that Info. Not sure why but my Imac won't display the drone or RC, which I'mstill tryingtoinvestigate, hence using the card. Its good there's different ways to suit your workflow.
it's a 240g drone, why register?!
My bad, I did pin a comment to say you do not need flyer.I.D. But it is free to do and I thoroughly recommend everyone should absolutely do it.
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency thank you so much 🙏

My apologies. There is a pinned comment with the correction. I'm making a corrected video.
