Here is a secret tip a neighbor taught me years ago. Mix in a couple tablespoons of French, store bought, dressing whipped into your Mayo just gives it a “yum, rich taste”. I also fully mix my Mayo with milk to thin it out slightly with a whisk. Seems to keep macaroni creamer.

My family loves tuna. Mac salad make it all summer. I also make a fall/ winter dish with tuna. Cream of mushroom soup & peas that we put over biscuits.
When I make potato salad & tuna macaroni salad, I add a [slight] teaspoon of sugar, a squirt of mustard & a squirt of Louisiana [red] hot sauce. You don't taste them but they add a depth to your salads. love your YTC & TYFS

My family and I love tuna. Especially tuna salad sandwiches. We like to use Miracle Whip instead of mayo and we put in dill relish because we don't care for sweet relish. We also put in hard boiled eggs, and seasonings such as garlic powder, onion powder, lemon & pepper, everything bagel, a tad bit of salt sometimes, etc. I've never had tuna macaroni salad before but I love both and it does look and sound delicious! I want to try it. I bet my family would love it too. Thank you so much Catherine for the wonderful recipes. Especially with tuna. These are different ways of making tuna interesting and delicious when you get tired of eating the same ol tuna all the time. It's very appreciated! 💜💜💜💜

These all look so inviting Catherine! 😍 Tuna is such a versatile thing! You can prepare it hot or cold to make some great meals! Tuna noodle casserole can be tricky and the results can vary. I think I've made it once when it turned out okay. I've made other attempts through the years but it's not my favorite. I guess with us eating tuna cold growing up, adjusting to a hot dish was difficult. I started making tuna pasta salad a few years ago and now it's my favorite way to have it! I use basically the same ingredients as you and sometimes I add olives. The tuna sandwich is another favorite and can be prepared so many ways! I once went to a place that used only tuna and Mayo in their sandwich. There was something about the simplicity of this sandwich that was served on homemade bread! 😋 Sometimes I capy this recipe and it's exactly what I want and other times I'll put a number of things in the tuna besides Mayo. I love celery, sweet relish and boiled eggs! Sometimes I'll even take the tuna mixture and stuff it in an avocado half! 🥑 Some people do the same thing with a tomato! 🍅 This is why we always buy the 10 or 12 packs so we always have tuna on hand! Tip: try putting your sauce, eggs, seasonings and veggies in first and mix, gradually add in the pasta.. this makes stiring it much easier because everything is already mixed, you just add the noodles..
My mom loves tuna, she used to make tuna pizza. Delicious! Cover the crust with any white sauce like Alfredo or bechamel, drain 2 cans of tuna, add some salt and pepper, cover the pizza with it, add some chopped eggs on top, cover everything with cheese and bake. Try it! You'll love it!
Like macaroni salad. Only thing is I can't eat tuna, so instead I add a large can chicken breast, 1 can crushed pineapple, drained, 3 diced Roma tomatoes, 4 hard boiled eggs, and I don't add any peas to mine. Also i add about a half cup sour cream to mayonnaise. Got to have the celery and onion.... great flavors!! Thanks for the salad recipes.
Your cream sauce looks much better than the canned soup. My mom used crushed potato chips on top of the tuna noodle casserole instead of a bread crumb or cracker topping.
I love tuna salad. Red onion is my favorite and every tuna salad has to have celery. Never tried relish and cheese on a tuna sandwich before. I will have to try it. I think that l would try to put the sandwich in my airfryer for a minute to melt the cheese like a tuna melt.
I love to dress up the Classic Tuna Salad by adding black olives and/ or capers then spread it on a piece of bread. Any bread you have will work. Start the broiler to warm up. Place the bread on a sheet pan that will work under the broiler. Slice some Valletta cheese to place on top of the tuna salad or use any cheese you may have handy. Place the open face sandwich under the broiler to melt the cheese. I even let the Valletta broil a little dark. This is a quick lunch or easy supper. Enjoy!!

I sometimes add chopped or sliced black olives in my tuna salad. My husband does not like peas, so I do not use them. Also sometimes I add red bell pepper diced. I don't know the amount of olives or red bell pepper. Just enough for the right color and taste.

I do the mac salad the same except I (& my family) doesn't like sweet pickles so I use dill relish in everything that calls for sweet relish. Try is - I have converted several people....also try adding about 1/2 tomato diced up and 2-4 boiled eggs to the tuna sandwich mix.

I make my tuna macaroni salad pretty much the same way, but I don’t add the peas. I sprinkle Paparika on top.
