This is probably the best quad that Happymodel has produced (so far)!
All the components are top-notch and quite durable. I crashed it so many times and it still flies like new. With ELRS, it feels absolutely locked and on rails.

honestly, thank you so much for this video. I was desperately looking for some aggresive flying videos of this quad to see how it performs. Seeing you race this quad finally made me confident enough to pull the trigger, great flying!

Nice! Love my crux3, and probably fly it the most since I can fly it in the yard without scaring the neighbors too much. This looks awesome. Do you think a naked vista unit would fit without modifying the frame or canopy? I'll probably get one anyway but will pre order in a day or two if it will hold the vista. Gotta wait til the credit card rolls since I've hit my fpv budget for this month.

Thanks again, I'm a big Happymodel fan and had no idea this was in the works til I saw your review this morning. The camera ain't the best, but I already have one on another model and it is good enough for me.

Haha thanks! Yeah, the voltage reading was kind of off since I was using an HV batt.
@@kaijupower how is the voltage off? Or how does running an HV battery affect your display on the goggles? We have had the same problem with smaller quads running High volt batteries. We notice when we get home the gain like a half a volt.
@@solen1849 i think it just needs to be calibrated. doesn't affect performance, though.

nice flying, is it worth to jump on 3.5 inch hype?
Thanks! Coming from 5" quads, you'll feel right at home. Being able to fly it in smaller places is definitely a plus. If you're moving up from, let's say, 2 inchers, you'll appreciate the added stability and smoothness a 3.5" quad can give.
