It is Assassin's Creed after all ha. I love the new warrior and hunter elements introduced from Origins and Odyssey but theres something about sneaking around and assassinating a leader that is satisfying.
I just found it a bit boring, just started a ng+2 and playing as a pure Hunter build, nothing like staring your enemy in the eye as you thunk them in the head with an arrow. I do miss the bows from origins though.
Assassin & Hunter Hybrid built is what I went for I used this vid as a tutorial *from the gears to the abilities and the mastery skills tree* I'm really loving my gameplay now...
Well you can still one shot polemarch/mercenaries on nightmare, you need around 250+ % hunter damage, 70%+ critical hit chance at full health, 500%+ critical damage at full health, around 100%+ elemental damage (poison or fire), and predator shot does about 1,5-1.8M damage (dont forget to max poison or fire damage/crit chance/crit chance at full health, crit dmg at full health mastery)
Let me get this straight: when you add fire damage or poison damage, and use any fire/poison enchant or arrows, that increases the damage of the actual direct damage of the melee swing or arrow shot? I got the impression fire or poison damage increases only increased the DoT damage after you've built it up and applied it to the enemy. Am I wrong for thinking this?
Just got the game on sale from ubi the other day, ultimate edition. Stumbled across your channel by accident the day before which actually prompted me to buy the game. Informative and thorough content. I luved my bow spec back in the day in skyrim, and later a little bow/dagger hybrid. but in the odyssey with this multishot...im going bow again. Btw, shall I go both poison and fire? Or is it enough if i go just poison, crit chanc crit dmg?
I just threw together a version of this with what I had available and I gotta say I love this. I don't have any more issues getting into long drawn out ffights. I can go into a fort and stand in 1 spot and snipe everyone usually with 1 shot sometimes 2 without ever taking damage or moving. 50% crit chance and Like +120% fire damage while using hades bow, and sphinx set. Op as fuk. Thank you

Hi, loved your vid. I started as a hunter about a month ago and i had to stop several times from using this path because its just very op. I always played on nightmare since day 1 and found hunter approches especially broken without even any specific legendary trait achieved (+100% damage, etc). The game lacks more unique and fun hunter skills like Predator Arrow, idk. While playing as a hunter i constantly get bored from just beating everything with like 3 skills and being able to kite absolutelly everything in Odyssey. Tell me your opinion.
Crit chance + Crit damage at full health on boots is insanely rare. I am at level 89, long since completed the story, got the Platinum trophy, and played through much of the DLC. I check every single blacksmith I ever visit for this Holy Grail combo on the boots, and have yet to see it.
Another absolute awesome video. This is the build I have been waiting for since the 1.12 nerf. You have now become my go to for everything assassin's creed odyssey. Keep it up mate! loving your video's. You deserve far more subs than you have!! 👍😊
What do you mean? You have access to common, rare, epic and legendary gear technically from the beginning of the game so you should have access to all gear slots and perks :) does this answer your question?
I'm pretty new to Odyssey and I don't know to much about the game, but why don't you use venemous attacks and poison mastery (or the fire variants)? With that you wouldn't have to use the engraving perk on the bow and could use something else since with venemous attacks lvl 3 you have no cooldown on it. And also it increases the fire/venom damage by 25% and it's effectivness by 60%
Hi Jordan, I'm using Warrior and Assassin hybrid build coz I'm not just love to take down enemies on stealth and fighting them face to face when got caught especially chasing down Mercenaries! But love your Hunter build I'll try it when I become lvl 70 too!

True this build honestly peaks at level 61 (max perk level 7). But that doesn’t mean it’s awful at lower levels. Crit chance at lower levels still helps tremendously. Plus you can roll this gear at any level and keep it and level it up to make it stronger every 10 levels. I’m realizing I need to make a lower level build and build making video :)
itsJordanDoes that’d be a good idea! Lower level build or “how to” video. One other question I have for you. Looking at your equipment, all your engravings are exactly what you want. However, is there a way to switch ALL engravings? Not just add/change the bottom engraving?
itsJordanDoes ok...cause when I try adding or changing engravings, I’m only able to customize the last engraving. Ex: say it’s an Epic Warrior based sword which you obtain and it has 2 engravings already on it. You can add a third. Then change the third at any time. But can you change the first 2 that initially came with the sword? Cause I can’t figure how you change those if you did just say “yes I can”?

Ive got a little more of 36,000 damage in my hunter apparience. The thing is, I only want mortal arrows or simple arrows, I dont like fire or poison. My goal is being capable of killing a soldier with an arrow aiming at the head (without using any hability) , but I barely achieve it with normal soldiers, not the tough ones. Is clearly impossible. Sorry for my english xD

Cool build! But I can give you an advice - use falk of Olympus (may be in English it called different, I play in Russian), so it reduces your health, but encreases all of your damage dramatically. You have 21873 hunter damage here, and I have about 28000 hunter damage. And I have it without using your advices (wich I will use of cause) and in the 66 level. Try to use it.

I have the Standard edition and at this point, I'm probably not going to get the Season Pass or whatever gets you that ability. Hey Jordan nice vid. I wish i watched your videos before going through the game. Didn't know that epic gear can be better than legendaries for builds. I basically sell or dismantle all epic/rare/common gears once i find a better gear for that level (keeping all the legendaries tho). Now i will keep also epic ones. Hope i didn't dismantle the good ones (chose Apollo for the spear tho :) )
You have the same legendary perk on the Spatha as you do on the Atlantean Blade, but I believe legendary perks don't stack, so you could/should change up that perk on the Spatha to something else, make your build even more epic!
At this point they need to stop nerfing stuff and start fixing the bugs a lot of people are running into honestly but thanks finally got a hunter build I will like using :)
Obviously this is an end game build but is it a build you can build for from the start (with the lower stats that come with lower levels of course)? or do you have to be at a spciific level in order for it to click? WHich skills would you prioritize while leveling, especially at the lower levels (1-20)?
It's not going to work very well at levels where you can't get to at least 50% crit chance. At low levels I would focus on elemental damage and melee attacks mixed with some assassination.
To piggy back off Neil elemental damage is best early but that doesn’t mean you can’t get this gear at a low level. Your gear upgrades with you so hold onto crit chance at full health gear and crit damage gear and upgrade them as you level up. You’ll start noticing a spike in damage.
in crit base build is better have predator shot than devastating because devast crit damage is calculated on base 400% even when fully charged, so is about 30% weaker. is it closer on headshot crit, about 15% weaker (with 500% crit damage 250% headshot damage)
Its a Ainmagata Ostraka Riddle. There are 5 of them to get the 5 levels of the engraving. I would google them and there are a few sites that show you the spoiler locations where to find them.

Do legendary perks add up even if you're not using that weapon. I thought it didn't since the L-perk weapon damage is fire damage only works if you're using the weapon that has the perk on it.

Without spoilers. Id say that your best bet is to be a tanky warrior/hunter. Try the greek hero's set or my spartan build. The huntsman is tricky and you'll need to have the healing ability ready. But you are going to want to be tanky to take the hits and the bow to hit him from a distance because it can be hard to get up close to him.
You probaly allready killed him but EVERYTHING ASSASSIN DAMAGE full pirate set and everything you can find with assassin damage on and Hero strike lvl. 3 it should be a 2 or 3 hit kill whit Hero strike of course
So it is possible to have 2 legendary engravings on one item? Have you heard anything about when or if they're going to fix the 40% damage with bows when above target engraving?
No Legendary Engravings cannot stack so you can't use the same legendary on multiple weapons. The only time 2 legendaries can be on the same weapon is when you engrave a legendary weapon with a legendary engraving. Then you have the weapons legendary perk plus the engraved legendary perk. Also I have reached out on certain things to Ubisoft but haven't heard anything yet! Keep a look out on their forums, twitter and reddit.
@@itsJordanDoes I use Artemis' bow that has 20% damage with devastating shot. First I put 40% damage with bows when above target and it didn't do anything so I put 20% damage with ghost arrows.

Does anyone know how to get the cosmetic option for the pants he has? I think it's the Tracker's Belt and I've been scrounging the world for it so i can use it for the visuals but I've had no luck. Anyone know if it unlocks automatically at a certain level?
I believe it’s the pants from the Epic Time gear from the helix store. You can either buy it with helix credits or roll it with ori from the ori store like I did.
Multishot! Multishot locks onto several enemies (up to 8 I believe) and your arrows are guaranteed to hit them. Spread shot is a bit useless in that it’s only 3 arrows that don’t lock on and are shot in a cluster towards wherever you are aiming.
Hey Dameon, staff can be hunter or warrior technically but I think they designed it for hunter builds. I am working on a good staff build at the moment. But for now id suggest finding some epic staffs with staff damage and boots with staff damage to get started and design your build around that.
Love this build although I made it as close as I could get with my equipment and haha I got tons of ability points like 1035 at this point so I don't have any cost to change abilities all the good one are used just change gear Its great at all professions . Thanks man
Have you ever tried this build with poison instead of fire? I've been using a lot of poison lately but can't decide which is more powerful. Do you have a preference? if so, why?
People on my discord agree that poison is likely better on this build than fire which I have to agree with. I personally prefer fire because I can burn supplies easily. It’s kind of a preference thing for me.
Epic is not always better like not with buffed agammenon set or spartan war hero when you go ability focused build with medusas sword with 25% cdr that 50% increase is huge
If you are wearing gear that has some of the attributes you want the loot you get tends to be similar so when I’m looking for specific gear I try and wear pieces that are as close to it as possible in hopes to get lucky drops. It’s worked for me thus far
Not that there's much point in doing so, but if you want to go full-tank use the Greek Hero set for the INSANE 30% All resist bonus - this is vastly superior to both the immoral set (revive on death) and the lifesteal one (forget the name sorry) especially since you can already get that through mastery. That all-resist is just a flat out -30% damage taken from literally everything which is why it's so damn strong. For your engravings on your armor I would highly recommend putting in more resistances wherever possible - Max Health seems tempting, but even at 70 your base HP is around 80k ish I believe, and the highest you can get from a single perk is 14% so that's another 10k HP give or take not really that good compared to something like 42% additional armor or elemental/melee resist (ranged resist from what I hear is very strong on Nightmare though I would argue it's not that hard to dodge arrows and close the gap anyway so screw it). I'd honestly use a dagger for main weapon and use 2 epic weapons of your choice (main handing a dagger though) rather than legendary ones, just because none of the legendary swords or daggers are innately good for being a tank (some have great perks but boost assassin or hunter damage, you want Warrior damage). The 2 engravings you'll want to use on your weapons are the chance on hit to stun (VERY strong with daggers since they swing fast which also means you'll crit more often) and armor penetration to help with your damage - the -25% cooldown reduction (CDR) is also incredibly good for spamming your self-heal and rage (works best if you max this mastery as well to further reduce downtime). And as far as your bow goes, again take an Epic because the legendary ones all get 1 less engraving for some reason the same way legendary armor does (I don't get why only the weapons are exempt from this) BUT you will absolutely want to have the new DLC bow - I think it drops off the Cyclops they added that you can fight on an island, the Stormbringer - so you can put its legendary power onto your epic bow it gives you +20% additional health and armor, both of which you'll want to boost through Warrior mastery ranks as well. I'm not sure if there's an effective armor cap or not in this game but you can definitely make your hero ridiculously tanky if you want to. There's just one really obvious problem which is by opting for a tank build you're going to take a much longer time compared to DPS builds farming EXP, and there's nothing in the game that really warrants going for such a build currently either but more power to you man. I wish they'd add some kind of challenge Arena that forces players to try new builds and tactics to overcome each challenge, could even make it an homage to the Trials of Hera (minus Alexios/Kassandra going insane and murdering their families of course LOL...)
Poison is better for weakening armor, fire has more DOT. For hunters you usually want fire, especially if you are using the all arrows pierce shields and armor penetration perks.

0:25 is that ability from a dlc

No you can switch all engravings you need to keep looting epic gear to get what you want. Only engravings can be changed.

If u need gear for this check smith's. They have some decent gear to use

If you notice they are different and thus do stack. One decreases your elemental buildup the other your elemental resistance.

What DLC gives you the rappit fire abillity...?🤔
I need help finding the 2% damage felt restored as health perk. I can't seem to find it at all
Legendary perk from having all 5 Amazon armor.
Obviously this is an end game build but is it a build you can build for from the start (with the lower stats that come with lower levels of course)? or do you have to be at a spciific level in order for it to click?
WHich skills would you prioritize while leveling, especially at the lower levels (1-20)?
It's not going to work very well at levels where you can't get to at least 50% crit chance. At low levels I would focus on elemental damage and melee attacks mixed with some assassination.
To piggy back off Neil elemental damage is best early but that doesn’t mean you can’t get this gear at a low level. Your gear upgrades with you so hold onto crit chance at full health gear and crit damage gear and upgrade them as you level up. You’ll start noticing a spike in damage.
Would that build also work for 1.0.6?

in crit base build is better have predator shot than devastating because devast crit damage is calculated on base 400% even when fully charged, so is about 30% weaker.
is it closer on headshot crit, about 15% weaker (with 500% crit damage 250% headshot damage)

Its a Ainmagata Ostraka Riddle. There are 5 of them to get the 5 levels of the engraving. I would google them and there are a few sites that show you the spoiler locations where to find them.
hey jordan, what is that underneath the ability points, I don't have that on my screen yet. Does that come when you are at a higher level?
Yeah at level 50 you unlock masteries which let you use ability points to boost specific attributes like adrenaline, warrior damage etc.

Do legendary perks add up even if you're not using that weapon. I thought it didn't since the L-perk weapon damage is fire damage only works if you're using the weapon that has the perk on it.
kevinnewell09 the perk has to be engraved on one of your three weapons or on your armor.

Hey Jordan, gave u killed the huntsman....I've been trying for days....I am wearing Agamemnon armor and using legendary blade bow and heavy blade, I've watched others kill him soooo fast I don't get what I'm doing wrong...do u have a video or any ideas...thx friend
Without spoilers. Id say that your best bet is to be a tanky warrior/hunter. Try the greek hero's set or my spartan build. The huntsman is tricky and you'll need to have the healing ability ready. But you are going to want to be tanky to take the hits and the bow to hit him from a distance because it can be hard to get up close to him.
You probaly allready killed him but EVERYTHING ASSASSIN DAMAGE full pirate set and everything you can find with assassin damage on and Hero strike lvl. 3 it should be a 2 or 3 hit kill whit Hero strike of course
So it is possible to have 2 legendary engravings on one item?
Have you heard anything about when or if they're going to fix the 40% damage with bows when above target engraving?
No Legendary Engravings cannot stack so you can't use the same legendary on multiple weapons. The only time 2 legendaries can be on the same weapon is when you engrave a legendary weapon with a legendary engraving. Then you have the weapons legendary perk plus the engraved legendary perk. Also I have reached out on certain things to Ubisoft but haven't heard anything yet! Keep a look out on their forums, twitter and reddit.
@@itsJordanDoes I use Artemis' bow that has 20% damage with devastating shot. First I put 40% damage with bows when above target and it didn't do anything so I put 20% damage with ghost arrows.
Not wrong about the crits at full health meta. That's all my dagger shredder build is about

Does anyone know how to get the cosmetic option for the pants he has? I think it's the Tracker's Belt and I've been scrounging the world for it so i can use it for the visuals but I've had no luck. Anyone know if it unlocks automatically at a certain level?
I believe it’s the pants from the Epic Time gear from the helix store. You can either buy it with helix credits or roll it with ori from the ori store like I did.

Multishot! Multishot locks onto several enemies (up to 8 I believe) and your arrows are guaranteed to hit them. Spread shot is a bit useless in that it’s only 3 arrows that don’t lock on and are shot in a cluster towards wherever you are aiming.

Hey Dameon, staff can be hunter or warrior technically but I think they designed it for hunter builds. I am working on a good staff build at the moment. But for now id suggest finding some epic staffs with staff damage and boots with staff damage to get started and design your build around that.

On nightmare the 100% damage perk is still worth it...Instead of dying in 2 hits, you die in 3. Not a big deal.
Have you ever tried this build with poison instead of fire? I've been using a lot of poison lately but can't decide which is more powerful. Do you have a preference? if so, why?
Max Lester fire or poison which ever one you build with use the epic gear because the legendary sucks.
People on my discord agree that poison is likely better on this build than fire which I have to agree with. I personally prefer fire because I can burn supplies easily. It’s kind of a preference thing for me.
Epic is not always better like not with buffed agammenon set or spartan war hero when you go ability focused build with medusas sword with 25% cdr that 50% increase is huge

If you are wearing gear that has some of the attributes you want the loot you get tends to be similar so when I’m looking for specific gear I try and wear pieces that are as close to it as possible in hopes to get lucky drops. It’s worked for me thus far

Insane tank warrior build ?
Not that there's much point in doing so, but if you want to go full-tank use the Greek Hero set for the INSANE 30% All resist bonus - this is vastly superior to both the immoral set (revive on death) and the lifesteal one (forget the name sorry) especially since you can already get that through mastery. That all-resist is just a flat out -30% damage taken from literally everything which is why it's so damn strong.
For your engravings on your armor I would highly recommend putting in more resistances wherever possible - Max Health seems tempting, but even at 70 your base HP is around 80k ish I believe, and the highest you can get from a single perk is 14% so that's another 10k HP give or take not really that good compared to something like 42% additional armor or elemental/melee resist (ranged resist from what I hear is very strong on Nightmare though I would argue it's not that hard to dodge arrows and close the gap anyway so screw it).
I'd honestly use a dagger for main weapon and use 2 epic weapons of your choice (main handing a dagger though) rather than legendary ones, just because none of the legendary swords or daggers are innately good for being a tank (some have great perks but boost assassin or hunter damage, you want Warrior damage). The 2 engravings you'll want to use on your weapons are the chance on hit to stun (VERY strong with daggers since they swing fast which also means you'll crit more often) and armor penetration to help with your damage - the -25% cooldown reduction (CDR) is also incredibly good for spamming your self-heal and rage (works best if you max this mastery as well to further reduce downtime).
And as far as your bow goes, again take an Epic because the legendary ones all get 1 less engraving for some reason the same way legendary armor does (I don't get why only the weapons are exempt from this) BUT you will absolutely want to have the new DLC bow - I think it drops off the Cyclops they added that you can fight on an island, the Stormbringer - so you can put its legendary power onto your epic bow it gives you +20% additional health and armor, both of which you'll want to boost through Warrior mastery ranks as well. I'm not sure if there's an effective armor cap or not in this game but you can definitely make your hero ridiculously tanky if you want to. There's just one really obvious problem which is by opting for a tank build you're going to take a much longer time compared to DPS builds farming EXP, and there's nothing in the game that really warrants going for such a build currently either but more power to you man. I wish they'd add some kind of challenge Arena that forces players to try new builds and tactics to overcome each challenge, could even make it an homage to the Trials of Hera (minus Alexios/Kassandra going insane and murdering their families of course LOL...)

Poison is better for weakening armor, fire has more DOT. For hunters you usually want fire, especially if you are using the all arrows pierce shields and armor penetration perks.
